Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience dealing with Euro Car Parts insurance. About a month ago, I was in a minor fender bender where the other driver was insured through them. When I went in for the assessment, the first thing they did was try to push a settlement on me, which I turned down. That’s when the condescension started... they kept insisting everything could be fixed for just $167, basically telling me they didn't care what I actually wanted them to pay out. I called my mechanic to see if their numbers were even realistic—since I don't know much about the insurance side of things—and, predictably, he said no way. He told me to get an official damage estimate from them first and then bring that to the shop. Once I actually showed up to get that estimate, the staff was incredibly rude and arrogant. As soon as they realized I intended to use a certified dealership for the repairs, they claimed they wouldn't cover the premium costs and tried to argue that I should split the bill because of some old scratch on my bumper.
Regardless of how small the accident is, if you're hit by someone insured by Euro Car Parts, call the police so there's an official report. It’ll save you a massive headache with them later, since they won't have any room to dispute the facts. Whether the person who hit you gets a ticket shouldn't be your concern; the reality is that having them insured by Euro Car Parts is going to cause you enough trouble as it is.
