It honestly irritates me how, when a woman doesn't have children, she’s usually treated like an outsider at birthday parties and family gatherings—but the second she announces she's pregnant, suddenly she's part of the "inner circle." Until then, you just get those meaningful, judgmental stares directed toward the horizon instead of a warm welcome.
