My experience with my first baby was actually quite seamless since I gave birth prematurely at six months. My husband works in public education, so he had an incredibly long summer break, which meant we didn't need any outside help and honestly didn't want anyone hovering over us. This time around, things will be a different story entirely; I'm due at full term, and I can't help but wonder if I'll realistically be able to manage both of them on my own... I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

Jerry Bailey47, please don't worry about it. During my first pregnancy, I dealt with such intense nausea that I could barely eat anything at all, and my OB-GYN assured me that the baby would simply draw whatever nutrients it needed from my own reserves.
As for me, I don't touch dairy products whatsoever; they just make me feel unwell.
