I’ve reached the point where I instinctively hold something in front of my stomach whenever I spot potential "attention seekers." Honestly? I can practically see that look of disappointment in their eyes. Like, "Seriously? Why is she hiding behind that now?"

It’s definitely the people who won't stop touching my stomach—which, by the way, is finally starting to show. 🤦🏼‍♀️
And then there's all the superstitions. They're ridiculous, but the ones about the forty-day mark after birth hit the hardest.
