Look, just give me an account number and tell me which bank or organization we're talking about. Once I have the info, I'll pay. I'm certainly not going to be posting my transaction details on a public forum.

Yeah, for them. Seriously—why are you playing dumb all of a sudden? 🙄

Look, Vanessa, French... I'm just gonna call him Blessing.

You can't attack people based on nationality, ethnicity, social status, religion, gender, race, sexual orientation, or pretty much anything else.

Don't promote or call for any criminal acts defined under the United States Penal Code.

No glorifying or promoting Nazism, fascism, racist ideologies, or anything xenophobic—that includes using their symbols.

Don't insult other users just because you disagree with them.

Don't respond to an insult with another insult.

Stop derailing the topic so aggressively.

Don't dump massive walls of copied text over 2,000 characters long.

Don't do anything to mess with the basic functioning of the forum.

Pay attention to the phrase "main subforum"—this is still the Lounge.

I’m always honest. Except for that one time... though, to be fair, I actually explained why I was being dishonest during that debate about the movie poster.

Where exactly am I supposed to find these "generic" rules?
Olivia Nguyen4 said:Wait, there's actually worse!

Savannah... remember back in the spring of 2000 when they were getting thrashed 0-3 and the game had to be stopped because of the chaos? Back when the Torcida was chasing down Ivan Leka. 😁 😁

The truth is they've just switched to a new decimal system...

Sorry, Jalan... but I just couldn't help myself.

If God wills, I hope he stays there for at least another ten years.
And if he absolutely has to move somewhere else, let it be Washington, D.C. and Dinamo.

It’s also a plus that women from San Francisco are gorgeous—it keeps his eyes wandering from the field to the stands.

As for Cleveland, he shouldn't even bother showing up.
What would he do there besides coach against them?
Cleveland is basically a notorious red-state stronghold, and he’s a true patriot.
He wouldn't feel welcome there, so it's better this way.
Neither would we.
I'd take Žilić over him any day.

Besides, sudden shifts in weather—the greenhouse effect and all that—could drop the ocean temperature way down, maybe even below zero!

Aha... so you're from Cleveland. Well, that explains everything.
You know that catchy little fan chant they have for you folks in Cleveland?

"Pathetic Cleveland, full of outsiders,
don't worry Cleveland, there's still plenty of nothing left."

Back in the Champions League, we had a 0-0 draw in San Francisco, but the New York Yankees took it 3-0 over in the Netherlands.

My bad. You're right.
Where did we leave off? Oh right, American soccer ☕
Olivia Nguyen4 said:The Los Angeles Dodgers just don't have any cohesion anymore—none of that signature grit they used to be known for.

It actually caught me off guard yesterday—I mean, how many games (especially against the New York Yankees) has this team won simply by sheer stubbornness?

I’ll admit, I was actually buying into this whole Dodgers rebuild. I thought they’d take down Debrecen, maybe even advance further, but nope. They didn't.

But look, in my opinion, the core issue isn't even the players (though they're a massive problem) or the coach. It's something that's incredibly common here in American sports—something that looks completely unprofessional overseas—and that is the constant revolving door of coaches.

In other places, managers stay for years. Even when the wins dry up, they stick it out. Here, we deal with some "shock therapy" coaching change every other week.

It just doesn't work that way.
Let's be real, without getting into whether Ciro is actually a tactical genius or how much time this roster even had to prep and drill the new manager's ideas...
They had three months. Total.
Who can actually pull off something meaningful in that timeframe?

As far as I'm concerned, there was never a reason to let Vulic go from the Dodgers.

Spot on. Just look at Manchester United. Alex Ferguson has been the man in charge there (well, a manager, since he handles the signings) since 1986. That's nearly 20 years. Twenty years! And his peak success was in the 90s, especially toward the end... then the squad eventually slumped because they needed to rebuild, and now, after a few years of being away from the top, they're chasing the summit again.

The New York Yankees went through FIVE different coaches in one season last year. Why on earth would anyone do that? Jurcevic was tossed after a single loss in the first round. That's what happens when clubs are run by incompetent mobs. Sure, "mobs" run teams overseas too, but at least they understand basic economics and business management.

But honestly, none of that changes the reality—Ciro is just an absolute hack when it comes to high-level tactics.

But look at the facts.
Back during the 2002/2003 season, the New York Yankees had an objectively worse roster than the Los Angeles Dodgers. WORSE.
The Yankees' coach was Ciro. And he still finished 8 points ahead of the Dodgers...

He simply took a compact squad—even if they were inferior to the Dodgers in terms of pure star power—and knew exactly how to squeeze every ounce of potential out of them.

Nowadays, the Dodgers don't even have that sense of cohesion.
Brandon Turner2 said:Look, I’m talking about the coach, not some random nonsense.

Me? I'm talking about the players.
You could have the greatest manager on the planet, but he won't achieve a damn thing if you're dealing with:
- players who couldn't care less
- players who simply lack the talent
- an incompetent front office

And right now, the Los Angeles Dodgers have all three.
They're actually trying to kick Vujic out of the club... it's pathetic. 👎

And then there's this statement..

"Ciro, stay. I won't accept your resignation. We still have plenty of work to do together," Grgic said firmly, cutting off any doubt.
Inside the front office, Igor Stimac was thinking along much the same lines as Grgic.
- "It's certain that Ciro did the honorable thing. But he isn't just here for Europe; he's here to squeeze everything out of these players and develop the youth. It's clear the president and the board will weigh in. Personally, I feel more like hanging myself than offering a resignation. I am absolutely against Ciro leaving—only a lunatic would ask for that." "Ciro has a sacred mission to win the American championship with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he can't back down now," Stimac added.
The Wall Street Journal

Didn't we hear the exact same speech last year after the Shelbourne game? Oh right... back then, Katalinic was the one being called incompetent. Every single coach gets that label. If they brought in Fabio Capello, people would call him incompetent too, and someone like Vanja (no offense intended...) would step up and say: "Man, even I could have won the Italian championship with a roster like the New York Yankees have."
