The two of us are heading out from Seattle. Where are the rest of you ladies coming from?

Oh my god, ladies, I seriously overdid it on the sweets today... I just had to share this with you all... even if it means a few extra pounds (not like I need them right now)

San Francisco and its surrounding areas have finally found some decent cakes for weddings and big celebrations... well, and maybe for my own wedding soon too 😁 yum yum yum

This lady calls her little business Holiday Cookies (I'm not sure if she's an official company or just doing it on the side), and I just found out through a friend that she does bulk orders by the pound if anyone needs them. I had one of her cakes once and it was absolutely divine, which is how I tracked her down (I actually already sorted out part of my wedding catering, ugh), and now I'm ordering more for Christmas because I really don't feel like baking myself, $27/lb 🙏

I am absolutely stuffed with sugar, I'll probably be full until Christmas arrives 🤣
Period talk: Questions and advice in Women's Health ·
Hey everyone!
I feel like I’ve scrolled through page after page of this forum, but I just can't find anything that actually gets into the details.

So, here's my situation: I have a long trip coming up, and my period is scheduled to start exactly when I'm traveling. I really don't want to be dealing with all that while I'm away, especially since I'll be spending time with my boyfriend and... well, let's just say I'd rather not deal with any discomfort or issues during that time. Is there any actual way to trigger an early period? I'm not on any hormonal birth control, so I can't just mess with pills to shift my cycle around. I could always go talk to my doctor about getting a prescription, but I'd much rather hear from people who have actually dealt with this in real life. I'm honestly starting to stress out about it.

Thanks!🙏

I really need to pick your brains on something here.

So, I run my own small business in one city—let’s say Washington, D.C.—but because my workload is shifting, I’ve gone ahead and leased some commercial space in a different city, maybe somewhere like Miami. It’s actually in a completely different state, too. For the time being, I don't have any plans to hire anyone else since I basically split my life between these two locations anyway.
What’s the best move here??? Should I just change my official business address, or can I register this new spot as a secondary branch without actually having staff on site? I'm trying to figure out what makes the most sense from a tax and financial standpoint...

Oh, and one more thing. I also do some side work to supplement the main business income.

Thanks!

So, this company is basically telling me they’ll hire me on one condition: I have to set up my own LLC and work as an independent contractor. They want to pay me strictly on a monthly commission basis, which means my paycheck is going to fluctuate wildly depending on how much I actually pull in each month.

I really need someone to lay out all the hidden pitfalls here—though if there are any actual perks, I'm all ears.
Help me out, guys. This is urgent and I am honestly lost. I have no clue if I should even consider this or what kind of terms I should be fighting for before I sign anything...

Ours is going to be white with whipped cream frosting, and we're planning to wrap real, candied orchids all the way up through all five or six floors. Since they'll be coated in sugar, there shouldn't be any issue with them tasting bitter.
