On a tight deadline 😁
Thanks.

It feels like it’s been about a month since any of the mods have even glanced at the Literature PDF section. I know Haralampije is out on vacation, but from what I can see, Mr. Smoogj is still hanging around the rest of the forum.
We’re actually a pretty decent group over there, but we’ve run into a bit of a mess with threads being posted in all the wrong places: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Also, over in the Just at the Newsstands thread, a whole discussion started brewing about book lending that really ought to be moved into its own dedicated topic (starting from post 6289).
Much appreciated 🙂

I get how that works, but I was honestly hoping there was some kind of "Delete all images" command buried somewhere in the menu. 😁
Clicking through every single one manually feels like such a massive waste of time.
Is there a way to wipe every single image out of a Microsoft Word document in one fell swoop? How do I pull that off? 😁

I'll be typing away, hit a snag, and then realize two sentences later that I messed up... so I try to fix it... let's say the mistake was this:

The sentence—I meant to type "sentence," but instead I put the cursor right between the letters and when I try to type an "e," it just eats the next letter, turning my word into total gibberish.

Hope you get what I mean. How do I shut off this little instrument of irritation?

Is it possible you have "write over" turned on?

To be clear, I don’t mean horizontal centering (Ctrl + E)—I mean vertical alignment. I don't want to have to mash the Enter key repeatedly and just eyeball it to see if it looks centered. Is there an actual setting for this? Hopefully, you get what I'm getting at.🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷

Vertical alignment? 🤷
