I feel like a kicked puppy missing out on being in Vienna to soak up those Robert Fripp maladies. I’ve always been a fan of King Crimson (even if I've only scratched the surface of their discography), and I really dig that avant-garde edge Fripp brings to the table.
As for Pista Penava’s review, honestly? It felt sterile and just plain boring. It's like they completely missed the point...😁 😳 😛
Joshua Watson2 said:Look, Brandon Castillo4, you could argue there are better guitarists out there than Steve Vai, but neither you nor I have ever heard anyone actually worth listening to who could even weigh in on the subject.
😕 😕
Who's to say Pat Metheny isn't "better" in my book? 😁
William Castillo19 said:Yeah... but why on earth would they try to play like him? And why should he bother playing like them!? It’s total nonsense. How can you even claim someone "can't" play a certain way? It's not like Steve Vai could suddenly start playing exactly like Brian May! What does that even have to do with anything? That kind of logic is just childish. Honestly, this forum is starting to get on my nerves with all the constant "this guy is the best" or "that guy is the worst" bullshit. Don't people realize there is no such thing as "the absolute best" or "the absolute worst"?
spot on...
That whole "they can't play like him" line is such a pretentious load of crap...
Jesus, people, don't you get it? A musician isn't trying to "play like someone else"—they're trying to find their own damn sound. Steve Vai is untouchable, brilliant, and an innovator, but who gets to sit there and declare him "THE BEST"?
For all we know, there might be some kid in Bulgaria who is "BETTER THAN HIM"... Better?? By what metric? Exactly. 😁
[IMPORTANT UPDATE] I’ve had a massive realization [/VAZNA INFORMACIJA]
Tango is GAY.
Yeah, you heard me right.
Here is why: 😁
1. Right at the start, Tango is talking to his sister like she’s some girlfriend he's trying to impress—asking if they're meeting up, if she'll be good, when they can hang out, blah blah blah...
2. Then there's that scene where his sister is sitting on Cash, massaging him and getting all touchy, and Tango walks into the room, rolls his eyes, shuts them in disbelief, and looks like he's about to burst into tears. 😁
3. Even in the prison shower scene, Cash is busy making fun of Tango for having a tiny weener, and instead of hitting back, Tango just goes "MINNIE MOUSE"... lol.
4.[turning point alert] The most important scene
They’re driving around in that "this-jeep-can-handle-anything" vehicle when suddenly-----------THEY STOP. 😕
Like total idiots, they have to "scout the situation." 😂
So they're squinting through binoculars, and out of nowhere, you hear Tango...
Tango: "Cash, you know....if I die here, I want you to know.....(want him to know what??! THAT YOU LOVE HIM?!?!?! 😁 )....that you're the best cop I've ever worked with" (he actually sheds a tear).
Cash: "And Tango....If you DO die here...I want you to know....
Edward Nguyen said:Oh my god, that music at the end is... everything!!! Seriously... why do I have such a massive soft spot for those 80s hair metal bands? 😍
Driving through the badlands of a private estate 😁 (Cash is behind the wheel of a heavy-duty Jeep)
Cash: "I've got some bad news and some good news." Tango: "Lay the bad news on me first." Cash: "We're running on fumes here." Tango: "So what's the good part?" Cash: "The good part is we're ALMOST out of gas..."
😂
LOL, what a bunch of idiots...
And this guy Perret? He couldn't stop them even if he had an army of 500 guys backing him up.
🤣
And let's talk about the complete lack of logic here... they just wiped out 200 people and nobody even blinked.😂
This movie is absolute insanity. I’m watching it right now...😁
It's just loaded with those obnoxious macho-comedy tropes, you know? That whole "we're such hot shots we're basically immortal" vibe, featuring the classic "straight-laced cop vs. reckless loose cannon" dynamic...😁
Their combined IQ probably doesn't even hit 122. It's all driven by ridiculous dialogue, impossible plot twists, and that predictable good guy versus bad guy tension...
God, what a joke. 😂
I'm actually about to go watch it for the third time. 😳
LOL, if you haven't seen this absolute masterpiece of chauvinism on N-power—not to mention it's straight-up top-tier comedy—you seriously need to switch it over to channel 2. 😂
Steve Vai is a total phenomenon, plain and simple. I’ve got most of his albums in my collection, and if you ask me, he’s easily in the top 5 most inventive rock guitarists playing today, and definitely sits among the top 10 of all time...
I seriously can't believe Perugia screwed me over in my first game in 12 $0.00. I nailed the exact scores for Por-Rus 2-0 and Gre-Spa 1-1, plus three MLB games, but then I missed out on Perugia and all that big money...🙄
Ahh...
I actually root for Verona over in Italy; really hoping they make it up to Serie A next year...
