There is that one scene where Bachman looks at everyone during a meeting and says, "one of you is the ugliest creature I have ever seen, but I won't say who," while giving that piercing side-eye to a colleague. 🤣 Or that moment when he grabs that kid. 🙏

As for movies, I'm drawing a blank. Honestly, I think Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were the last things that actually made me laugh.
I was originally thinking about movies, but this looks pretty good too. I haven't heard much about this series before, but seeing that the episodes are only about 22 minutes long—plus that it has an excellent rating on IMDb and features that actor from Horrible Bosses—it seems worth my time. I think I'll dive into the first two or three episodes sometime this week. 👍
On a different note, I was actually wondering if anyone has any solid comedy recommendations? For the past year, I've been stuck in a loop of nothing but horror, heavy dramas, and intense thrillers. It feels like an absolute eternity since I last sat down to enjoy a genuinely good comedy.
Oh, absolutely, that church scene in Kingsman is easily one of the most iconic moments ever, wasn't it? I actually haven't gotten around to watching Oldboy yet; I've had it downloaded on my computer for ages, but I just can't seem to find the right time to sit down and watch it. Since IMDb gives it a 5.7, I'm thinking I might pass on it for a while longer. 🤣

Honestly, Daredevil is one of those rare few series I’m actually bingeing between seasons right now. Have you happened to catch that specific fight sequence where Matt goes after those kidnappers to save the kid? In my opinion, that particular fight scene is the Number One best choreographed action moment ever put on screen. 🙏

You know, this is probably the first time I've come across anything negative regarding The Wire. I haven't actually sat down to watch it yet, and honestly, can a police procedural even be compelling when you aren't following a central protagonist? Still, it seems like everyone and their mother is praising the show. I think I'll download a couple of episodes just to see if there's any substance to the hype.

I’ll pass on mentioning those cult classics I actually bought a dedicated external hard drive for, as they barely deserve the mention, and I'll skip the great ones I tucked away on that same drive even if they aren't quite as legendary. On my computer right now, I have 36 series in rotation, but the ones I'm consistently following are Minnesota Vikings, Hannibal, Silicon Valley, and Game of Thrones. The rest are just sitting on my watchlist, though a couple or three are currently between seasons, so I'm just taking a breather there.

It’s all quite amusing, really. One leftist claims this will be a massive win for the Democratic Party, while the right-wing crowd insists it’s a clear victory for the Republican Party. In the end, we'll see who actually comes out ahead, won't we? With the elections just a few months away, I suspect we'll all be back here soon enough, pointing fingers and debating the fallout. ☕
