I'll stick with these mice* from the USA for another month or so—then I'll go find something that actually fits my style.

*nibble nibble 5% in manipulation fees and nibble nibble 5% on every single bet authorization

Once July 1st rolls around, I'm letting them chew on whatever they want.

Man, who's actually going to block your money? No way, Jose... They haven't done that to anyone in years, and personally, nobody has touched a single cent of mine in three or four years...

Honestly, I’ve been thinking about this for years—we really shouldn't have even been able to bet online if certain existing laws were actually being enforced... but anyway, I don't really expect much to change for those of us who gamble online. If anything, we might get some extra perks, like having the option to get a Maestro card through PayPal to use for payments across the US—though I haven't fully dug into all the specifics yet.

I'm not quite sure which specific Law you're referring to here...

As for my own situation—you might be right, honestly, you probably are—but I have this habit of overthinking things. My betting patterns are pretty specific, so they could easily be reverse-engineered, especially if someone manages to link them back to my IP address... 🤷

Someone mentioned there's software out there for playing with static or dynamic IPs; does anyone here know much about how that works?

There's Tor Browser which hides your IP, and honestly, there's a ton of stuff out there—I'm definitely no expert on the technical side... but from what I understand, those kinds of tools constantly rotate your IP. It makes it look like you're logging in from India one day and Pakistan the next, which just looks super suspicious... but again, don't quote me on that, I'm not an IT guy.

One thing I can tell you for sure, though: don't sweat it too much. Once you get your account verified, the absolute worst-case scenario is that they just limit you again (if you're actually good at this, that's basically inevitable—it's just a matter of when). You won't lose your money, though. So, in that sense, there isn't really a risk to you... I know that for a fact because I'm already on my third and fourth accounts over there...

The only place where I actually have a system that works is with them. I have a bit of luck with Marathon too, though their odds and selection aren't nearly as good.

Should I just open an account under someone else's name, try to mask my IP, and keep grinding until they flag that one too—or just call it quits? 🤷

(P.S. By "call it quits," I mean taking my winnings, reinvesting them into top-tier tipsters, building a solid portfolio, and moving into more serious play.)

(P.P.S. I’ve gotten really hooked on this specific way of betting—it’s how I’ve grown my bankroll—and honestly, it breaks my heart a little to watch those parlays hit every single day when I haven't even made a cent off them. My gut tells me I should be winning.😢 )

Look, you tell me your winning strategy, and I'll tell you how to fix your problem.🤣

Anyway, regarding DraftKings... just set up a new account in someone else's name, mess around a bit with the verification and PayPal (if that's what you use), and just keep going. Honestly, the IP address isn't the issue—I can tell you from experience. They won't shut down a new account just for that; at least they haven't done it to me, and I've lost track after my third or fourth account... I've even logged in and made deposits back-to-back from different accounts without a hitch. You only get flagged once you start actually making money; after a while, a red light probably goes off on their end.

Now, let's hear about that strategy of yours.😁

@Jacob Ruiz86/">@@Jacob Ruiz86,
I handle my deposits and withdrawals through my MBA account (Skrilla)—honestly, once you get through the verification process at DraftKings, it’s smooth sailing. You just need to provide some standard ID and a utility bill with your name and address on it—the usual drill, really.
Using PayPal is also pretty straightforward. You sign up, and they’ll ask for some documentation and proof of address—they actually mail a code to your house which you then enter to verify everything. For my own setup, I move funds through a foreign currency checking account at JPMorgan Chase; along with that account, you get a Visa Electron card that makes topping up your PayPal balance super easy.
I made sure to mention a foreign currency account because it’s crucial that your betting accounts (whether it's one or several), your PayPal, and your bank account all use the same currency—ideally US Dollars. Why bother? Because if they don't match, you'll end up losing a little chunk of change to exchange rates every single time you make a transaction.
Opening a foreign currency account isn't an issue—there aren't any crazy requirements—though you might have to wait about 2-3 weeks for the physical card to arrive (I can't say for sure how long it takes lately, it's been a while since I went through it...).

You can technically fund your PayPal using any card that supports online payments, but I’d strongly suggest sticking to the same currency (USD), especially if you plan on doing this frequently.

I’m based in the States too, and I actually got an email offer from them twice for a 100% deposit bonus up to $100

Yeah, but probably not within the last few months...

They finally caught on that Americans tend to open accounts for half their relatives and friends... 😁

Kenneth Brooks2, you could go with DraftKings eventually—though, honestly, if you're looking at handball or volleyball, those limits will probably kill your luck pretty fast... Since I don't bet on those sports all that often, I'm not entirely sure about the specific odds setups there—but hey, if you have some exotic niche in mind and want a recommendation, just ask. I've dabbled in almost everything...
You might want to give Doxbet a shot too; I don't play there too much, but they're decent enough...
Or, the simplest move is just to open a new account with someone else like Bet365 or BetMGM... Actually, BetMGM tends to be way more lenient if you throw in a tiny, mindless 1.01 bet—that trick helps me out quite a bit sometimes.

Carl Alvarez3 said:Does anyone know if it's actually possible to close a Bet365 account? I’ve been poking around their website, but honestly—I can't find anything about it anywhere... 😕

Honestly, the easiest way is just to reach out to Customer Service and get exactly what you need—I’m not entirely sure what your end goal is by closing the account, to be honest?

If you ever feel like you need to step back from betting entirely—maybe because things are getting a little too intense or you're worried about developing an addiction—you can always use the self-exclusion option. It’s a solid way to set some boundaries for yourself if you feel like you need to hit the pause button. 😁 )

Yeah, I’ve actually tried that once before—but honestly, you end up in the same spot, just with more headaches... It really just boils down to this: if you can't verify the ID of the person whose name is on the account, there's zero chance you'll be able to withdraw any funds.
Best offshore sportsbooks for online betting? in Betting Forum ·
1. Passport verification (you just enter your passport number on the site)
2. Proof of address (Bet365 actually sends an old-school letter to your home address containing a code—you then just type that code into the website)

Without those two, you don't stand a chance of getting your money out—and honestly, they might even ask for a photo of a document later on—but these first two are absolute must-haves...

Someone was asking about 5Dimes... the interface looks a little weird, so you'll probably need some time to get used to it. They have massive limits on US sports, which is great, and pretty decent on other stuff too. You can't combine everything into parlay bets, but you definitely have more flexibility than you would with, say, Pinnacle...

restlessgardener85 said:I'm wondering if there's any way to make it work with $2,000—the lady from customer service told me the minimum is actually $4,000...

I think I'll try negotiating with them directly and see what happens... 🙂

P.S. how long did you end up waiting after you submitted your request?

Just to clear things up on whether it's doable... 🙂

So, I stopped by my local Chase branch today, and they told me $2,000 is fine—even though just a day earlier, someone over the phone insisted it had to be $4,000. 😁
I'm going to trust what I heard in person at the bank, but honestly, here’s the takeaway—don't take everything you hear at face value. It's always better to double-check things yourself; that seems to be the rule of thumb around here... 🙂

darkmaker94 said:Got some more details—you can actually grab a Visa or Mastercard if you set up a CD. The minimum deposit required is $667, and they’ll give you a credit limit of up to 80% of that amount. 🙂

So, which one's the better move: Visa or Mastercard? I know they're pretty much interchangeable when it comes to where you can use them. But what I really care about is—do both work fine for online shopping? 😁

Have you actually looked into this or tried to get one yet? I ask because from what I've heard, the minimum for a Mastercard is $4,000, and I think the Visa requires $6,000... So, I'm just wondering if there's any way I could push for a $2,000 limit instead. That would be totally doable for me, but $4,000 is starting to feel a bit steep—kind of double what I was originally thinking 😁
If you think this lineup is garbage, then honestly, don't bother coming... simple as that.

Personally, I think Flogging Molly and Massive are going to put on incredible shows—especially Flogging—and they alone make the whole trip worth it.

Besides, even if anyone else ends up playing, spending $100 two days of music and good vibes is totally worth the cost. You can make that money back in a single night out, so if you think it's too much, just stop complaining...
