Thanks, everyone. Razgor actually helped me out! I think I might try redirecting all that sexual energy into my work... maybe it'll even lead to a raise or something, so I guess there's definitely some upside to all this...

Yeah, my conscience definitely eats at me. Honestly, I don't know how I'd feel... I guess I'd probably feel okay if she never found out, but if she did... I think I'd just want to end it all.

I just can't shake the notion that sooner or later, you're going to end up folding and giving in to someone else entirely. 😢
I get where you're coming from, but I don't think the issue is me, or even her. I wasn't really exaggerating when I talked about her qualities. It's more like... I guess I just have this constant need to prove myself to myself? I don't know, it's hard to put into words.

Yeah, sorry if that came off a bit harsh. We do live together, our families are all pretty close, ...

Hey, bok Puregrica. You actually made me laugh. I guess I wasn't being totally honest with you guys, mostly because I wasn't even being honest with myself. It isn't really about any past "wrong" thoughts or anything... it’s more just this, I don't know, slightly suppressed but still very much there, desire to actually ask her out on a date right now...

I don't really get it... how can she be mad if she doesn't even know what happened?
graniteskipper17 said:So, you married?
Nah, I'm not... though it feels like we are, even if we haven't made it official or anything.
How do you guys see this situation:
So, imagine you're in a relationship with this girl who’s still incredibly attractive to you. You're really attached to her, and she feels the same way about you. She honestly impresses you—she's smart, sharp, and just a genuinely good person who's always looking out for you and everyone else... Then, you cross paths with this other woman. She’s married, but there's this undeniable chemistry between you two. She already knows you're in a relationship, but she goes ahead and asks you out on a date anyway... Do you go? Or do you stay put and deal with the regret? Maybe you don't go and feel fine, or you go and end up feeling terrible? As for me, I'm not going, but I am feeling the regret, and I guess I just feel guilty for even feeling that way.
Hey everyone!
I'm new here on the forum. Lately, I've been struggling with this one thought that just won't leave me alone. I try to push it away—telling it to "get lost" or "beat it," and honestly, I've even thought some much worse things than I should ever say out loud (I mean, I try to be a decent guy). I figured if I just laid it all out here, maybe it would feel a little lighter. If you guys could just... I don't know, bear with me and offer some support, I'd really appreciate it. So, here's the deal: I work for a major telecom company, specifically dealing with phone exchanges. The other night, I made a mistake at one of our sites that basically cut off an entire area from the rest of the world for the whole night. We figured out what happened the next day, fixed the glitch, and everything went back to normal. But now, I can't stop spiraling. I keep wondering if someone needed emergency services or the police or... I don't even know. At first, I tried to calm myself down by thinking everyone has cell phones now, but then I realized I'm not even sure if that area had good coverage back then. Then I tried telling myself people look out for one another, that they'll help a neighbor in need or drive someone to the hospital if they have to, but then that dark thought hits me too—that sometimes people aren't looking out for each other, or they're actually working against each other. Like, maybe there was a woman facing domestic violence who needed to call 911 and couldn't... because of me... I'm sorry for such a long, rambling post. I usually just stay quiet about stuff, but I felt like I just had to speak up, or well, write it down... Please help if you can. Thanks in advance! Bye!!!
