How do you guys see this situation:

So, imagine you're in a relationship with this girl who’s still incredibly attractive to you. You're really attached to her, and she feels the same way about you. She honestly impresses you—she's smart, sharp, and just a genuinely good person who's always looking out for you and everyone else... Then, you cross paths with this other woman. She’s married, but there's this undeniable chemistry between you two. She already knows you're in a relationship, but she goes ahead and asks you out on a date anyway... Do you go? Or do you stay put and deal with the regret? Maybe you don't go and feel fine, or you go and end up feeling terrible? As for me, I'm not going, but I am feeling the regret, and I guess I just feel guilty for even feeling that way.

I’m not going, and frankly, I couldn’t care less if I did.

I wouldn't go, and I wouldn't regret it. I guess I'd just explain the situation clearly so she doesn't take it personally.

Nah, I'm not... though it feels like we are, even if we haven't made it official or anything.

I don't really get it... how can she be mad if she doesn't even know what happened?

Hey, bok Puregrica. You actually made me laugh. I guess I wasn't being totally honest with you guys, mostly because I wasn't even being honest with myself. It isn't really about any past "wrong" thoughts or anything... it’s more just this, I don't know, slightly suppressed but still very much there, desire to actually ask her out on a date right now...

Honestly, I’ve got this nagging feeling that there’s something fundamentally off about your relationship—and I mean that despite all the incredible qualities your girlfriend brings to the table. 😕
I just can't shake the notion that sooner or later, you're going to end up folding and giving in to someone else entirely. 😢

Well, go ahead and call her. Just tell your wife not to bother making dinner, since you might be out late...

Or, you know, just be a decent guy and have an honest talk with your wife.

Yeah, sorry if that came off a bit harsh. We do live together, our families are all pretty close, ...

So, does your conscience actually bother you? I mean, seriously—how would you even feel if you ended up cheating on your wife?

I get where you're coming from, but I don't think the issue is me, or even her. I wasn't really exaggerating when I talked about her qualities. It's more like... I guess I just have this constant need to prove myself to myself? I don't know, it's hard to put into words.

Yeah, my conscience definitely eats at me. Honestly, I don't know how I'd feel... I guess I'd probably feel okay if she never found out, but if she did... I think I'd just want to end it all.

I honestly think your relationship just needs a little spark! 😍 And obviously, I mean with your partner! 😍

If you’re going to hesitate this much, just don't do it.
You'll end up feeling like you ate a carton of rotten eggs.

And if you actually think you can live with the guilt, then go for it.

Man, just walk away from all that nonsense.

You’ve got an amazing woman by your side—stay happy and don't go looking for trouble elsewhere, because if you start chasing something else, you're liable to end up losing everything.

The bottom line:

"Human desires are as endless as the thirst of someone drinking seawater—it brings zero satisfaction, yet the craving just keeps intensifying."
