Used PC builds: What are they worth? in Desktops ·
Greetings to everyone.
I am looking to sell my computer to fund the purchase of a more capable machine. I am uncertain regarding a fair asking price, so I am turning to this community for guidance. The specifications are as follows:
Processor: Intel Pentium G630 DualCore 2.7
Motherboard: ASUS P8H61-M LX2 R2
Graphics Card: Intel hd Graphics 1000
RAM: DDR3 4.00 GB (3.7GB usable)
HDD: 500.0GB
Optical Drive: LG DVD/CD-RW

Thank you.

Well, it doesn't actually have to be from Ekupa. It can be from any shop, as long as it's based here in the States and offers delivery.

Greetings to all.

I am seeking assistance regarding the assembly of a gaming PC with a budget of $1333. I already possess a monitor and the necessary peripherals; my requirements are limited strictly to the tower itself. Ideally, I would prefer an AMD processor paired with an AMD graphics card and 8GB of RAM. It is essential that the system can run Grand Theft Auto V at least on medium settings. I have no intention of overclocking, so a specialized cooler is unnecessary. Thank you in advance for your efforts. One final detail: please ensure the components are sourced from Best Buy.

Is it a better move to go with an Intel Core i5, or should I save some cash by picking up an AMD chip—and then put that extra money toward a beefier graphics card?

Go with the AMD.

Why wouldn't you just opt for more RAM, and instead of going with Intel, swap in an AMD build? AMD is significantly cheaper, yet the specs are nearly identical... You could then grab a different motherboard to accommodate the socket, and perhaps squeeze in a slightly better hard drive.
