Westerners and Eastern spiritual practices

It wasn't until they dragged in some yoga guru to go hunting for him in the astral plane that he actually made it back. Then there was another dude trying to force his Kundalini energy to awaken and ended up checked into a psych ward... Honestly, with all that intense stuff, you need a legitimate master, not some random meditation instructor who picked up a few tricks at a thirty-minute weekend seminar. Besides, Americans have a totally different culture, different customs, and a completely different lifestyle than people in the East, so a lot of this stuff just doesn't translate well to us.
Božanstvena,
Your buddy wasn't even meditating. He was just tossing silver cords around like confetti—no wonder he had to call in the specialists to find them. Maybe those Eastern "thread hunters" are better at tracking down silver strands than we are here in the States, who knows? And that other guy? He was basically trying to catch lightning bolts with his bare hands; any local electrician could've told him exactly where he was going to end up.
Total nonsense.
As long as someone thinks they have to "figure it out" or "get it," they aren't getting anything out of meditation.
