But what about when someone donates an organ while they're still alive? Like, say, a parent giving a kidney to their child or something along those lines? They both go on living their lives, right? So, what happens after the donor passes away? Is there still this lingering connection between the donor and the person who received the organ?
I’m definitely no expert on this subject, I’m just sitting here mulling things over based on what I've been reading lately. It seems perfectly logical to conclude that through organ transplantation—assuming we are the parent of the recipient or just a suitable donor in general—we are actually transferring a piece of our karma to them. Our organ cells are saturated with our own life energy, which carries our unique "imprint."
I realize some people might hear me saying this and think I'm just making excuses for being selfish, but honestly, anyone who has truly realized the deeper purpose and meaning of their existence can see where I'm coming from.
In my view, we should be focusing on the quality of our lives and how we treat those closest to us, which is what really defines a person.
When it comes to the sick, we ought to do everything humanly possible to ease their potential pain and suffering, working within the bounds of legitimate medicine to treat their physical bodies whenever possible. This is such a vast field of work with endless opportunities for both doctors and the community at large. We can genuinely do so much for one another without resorting to anything unethical, like organ harvesting.
Just look at the direction this whole branch of "science" has taken... gene manipulation, organ transplants, and now the ultimate peak: cloning...
Step by step, we are watching that horrifying scenario from Huxley's "Brave New World" play out right before our eyes. 😢
