Does anyone know why this package wasn't sent to my local post office (over on Vrbana) and instead stayed stuck at the main hub on Main Street?

The mail carrier just slapped a yellow slip on the building's front door saying I have to pick up the package over at the Main Street location. Honestly, sticking notices on the main entrance door feels pretty ridiculous since my last name is clearly listed on both the intercom and the mailbox 🤷. This is the first time anything like this has happened; I receive packages all the time and always collect them from my neighborhood branch without any drama 😕

I called the Main Street branch, but the woman on the phone couldn't give me a straight answer as to why it wasn't delivered locally. She just kept repeating that it was a package and that the package was currently sitting with them at Main Street. I asked her for the specific reasoning a few times, and every single response was just, "Because it's a package"... I'm completely lost here...

Thanks!
I just saw someone else on the Amazon thread mention (back in 2010 😁) that they successfully placed an order using their Bank of America Visa... I think I'll give it a shot myself, and if it actually works, it works 🙂

I could use some help here 🙂

I’m currently using a student package from Bank of America—it includes a Visa checking account, a Visa debit card, and an American Express specifically for students.

I'm assuming none of these cards will actually work on Amazon (whether it's the .de, .co.uk, or .com sites)? ...I've been digging through Amazon's own instructions where they mention accepting Visa, but I've heard rumors that it still doesn't go through, so I'm a bit confused 🙂

I actually called both Citigroup and Wells Fargo to ask about their web-based prepaid cards, but neither of them could give me a straight answer on whether those prepaid options would be accepted by Amazon... I get that they can't possibly know exactly which specific portals accept which types of cards, but I was wondering if anyone here has had any luck successfully shopping on Amazon using a prepaid card from a major bank?
