BTW, has anyone actually published any credentials regarding this father who sits outside the school every single day to "educate" his son? I mean, clearly, the man possesses an incredibly vast spectrum of knowledge and expertise if he's supposedly capable of "educating" an eighth grader in every single subject.

I agree. If Dad were actually an expert on everything, we’d already know about it. He’d be all over this forum, condescendingly lecturing us on every single topic... Those kinds of experts are a rare breed. Pure gold.

My point in posting this is to find out what you all think about wearing masks when it's required constantly. We're talking 6 or 7 periods of school!

The reason I'm asking is that my daughter has been dealing with constant headaches. She comes home every single day complaining of a headache, saying the mask is making her feel like she can't breathe. And I believe her—I mean, I've worn a mask for maybe two hours and felt like I was going to pass out. She's stuck in one for five.

So, where do I even go from here? How do I start fixing this? Do I go to her pediatrician to see if she can get a medical waiver?

What do masks have to do with this topic anyway? They're just a side note...

It seems most parents—myself included—don't view wearing a mask for such a brief, strictly limited period as some sort of psychological warfare against our children.
To my mind, true "playing games" involves hauling around seven or eight-pound bags—my son is quite thin, so there's a genuine risk he'll tip backward like a turtle—or dealing with a daily exam on top of the usual homework and projects.
But then again, who asked me? 🤷

According to "new normal" logic, they'll probably just strap another 15-pound bag to his chest so he doesn't tip over.
