Lady Gaga... weirdo or not? in Music ·
Thomas Hernandez21 said:Has anyone actually listened to that song by Lady Gaga? It sounds incredibly bizarre to me, yet I can't seem to stop looping these two tracks I downloaded. 😁

What’s your take on her sound?

It’s alright, I guess... though sometimes it feels like she’s trying way too hard to lean into that "quirky" persona. For instance, did she honestly think recommending Batalla would make her look effortlessly cool and underground? 🙄

Forget Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones; they were pretty mediocre. Personally, I thought the best part of the movie was the scene with my dad's girlfriend.

Del Toro was definitely the highlight for me... the cinematography was great too 🙏 ....like that shot with the helicopter descending or when Del Toro is by the pool... just phenomenal. As far as the plot goes, I wasn't exactly blown away, but it was passable. The director shows potential.

Probably fitness... we could probably split the topic halfway between cosmetics, health, and sports 😁

I ride my bike regularly and hit the dance floor, so everything feels tight—except for my stomach. Ugh. It just pops out the second I eat anything. 😢

Look, I get that you're fit. What I mean is you probably need something more intense to target those core muscles... maybe yoga or something like that.🤔

And what exactly are you planning to say once you're pregnant?😁

Listen, maybe try some core work to help with your posture—that’s really your only move here. But if that's just how you're built, you aren't ever going to fully escape it. What, are you going to be doing crunches until you're eighty?🙄 Targeted exercises like that are pointless in my book; you'll eventually get bored and quit, and then we're back to square one. You're better off finding an actual hobby or some physical activity you actually enjoy. That's how you actually stay in shape.

Stronger muscles might help fix that slightly, though I wouldn't go overboard... why are you getting worked up? To me, it's actually 😍

So, I’m looking around and noticed there aren't really any threads going... strange... anyway, what did you guys think of the movie?

It's pretty obvious you're a woman. 😁

"Agape" feels like a much more accurate way to describe what I feel for people than just calling it "love." 😉

Loving "humanity" as some grand, abstract concept is easy. Anyone can do it. It’s a lofty ideal that requires zero actual effort. The real problem starts when you try to apply that sentiment to every single individual person you encounter. Can someone truly claim to love people if they don't actually like every person they meet? Personally, I can't. That sounds exhausting. The absolute most I can offer is basic acceptance—and even that feels like a struggle for me sometimes. 😉

You're overthinking things a bit, but honestly, I'm on board with your logic. 👋

By the way, you notice this thread has basically turned into a casual chatroom (at least until the mods decide to wipe us out).

In that case, tell me: do you actually like everyone? Your first answer felt a little too diplomatic for my liking. 😉

Enchantress said:The standard line is that humans are social animals, and that hanging out with our own kind is supposed to be good for us—uplifting, fulfilling, and all that other nonsense. 😛 😉 🙂

I suspect the inmates at San Quentin wouldn't exactly find much common ground with your theory.

I can't stand those hippies who claim to love absolutely everyone... total idiots... just leave me alone.
