I’ve run into a bit of a snag. I ended up getting a Microsoft card through JPMorgan Chase mainly because I wanted everything to work smoothly with PayPal, but so far, I’ve only managed to get a single transaction through before it hit a wall. Every other time, I just get this message: Unfortunately your payment was not accepted by PayPal. We are now redirecting you to PayPal. Please choose an alternative payment method from within your PayPal Account. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this...
Traffic violation procedures in Criminal and Misdemeanor Law ·
I don't want to start a whole new thread, but I could really use some advice... I got pulled over by the police earlier and they're asking for my driver's license and registration, but I don't have the registration on me. The officer was circling the car while his partner was busy pulling over other drivers. He noticed I didn't have the inspection sticker displayed, so I tried to explain that I'm not actually the owner—that he just took it in for service two days ago and there was some mess with the insurance due to a lease agreement, so all the paperwork is sitting with him. I even called the owner, and the cop told me he’d drive the documents down to us since he was only 6.2 miles away, but when I mentioned that to the officer, he just brushed me off, saying he doesn't care about my excuses and started listing out all the violations he saw. $100 the missing sticker, $167 the lack of registration, and $100 because the passenger in the back seat wasn't wearing a seatbelt... he just tallied it all up and told me the total is $367, then took my license and went back to his cruiser. A moment later, he came back with my license and said I actually have several more violations coming my way and that I'll receive the official notice in the mail in a few days. Isn't there supposed to be some kind of receipt or written confirmation provided at the scene to prove I was actually stopped? And isn't there supposed to be some limit on how many cars they can pull over at once?
