Matthew Fox4 said:Since I’ve never been much of a gym rat, 😁 I could never quite get that little seal to puncture properly. I actually ended up tossing my billionth dose of probiotics straight into the trash without even realizing it! 😠

But then I figured out a little workaround. 🥳 I just pop the lid off, peel away that membrane, pour everything into a small bottle, snap the lid back on, and give it a good shake. That way, I’m getting every last bit out of the cap—and just like velvetmoose9, I eventually switched over to a higher-end probiotic that's way easier to take. 😎

It’s such a massive waste when people realize a supplement isn't doing anything, only to find out they weren't even taking it right in the first place. And man, those things aren't cheap...
Look, the cap-reservoir thing is clearly mentioned on both the box itself and the insert inside, but apparently, some people think that little three-step graphic on the packaging tells them everything they need to know.

Even the folks who actually take the time to dig through the fine print—where the cap-reservoir is explicitly called out—might just give up after a tiny bit of resistance, assuming they've twisted it enough. Because, let's be real here, you actually have to put some serious muscle into it to get it right.

I'm curious to see how many people are running into this exact same issue, so I've put together a quick poll. Let me know what you think. 🙂

I’ve been watching this thread and I’m convinced some people aren't using the Pfizer suspension correctly... honestly, I think it's because the instructions on the box are pretty vague as hell.

Here’s the deal: to actually prep the suspension, you have to twist the bottle cap clockwise with a ton of force—like, until you hear that plastic ring under the cap snap—and just keep cranking it until all that powder inside the cap finally drops into the liquid. Only then do you shake it, open it, and take it.

The manual says the first step is just "Turn cap right until tight," but you really have to muscle it. Most people probably think they've hit the limit and assume that step is just there to prevent leaks while shaking. So, they end up just drinking the liquid from the bottle, completely oblivious to the fact that the actual medication is still stuck in the cap...

Do me a favor and weigh in on the poll. If it turns out a huge chunk of us are messing this up, I really hope the manufacturer doesn't just shrug it off. They seriously need to clarify the directions or tweak how the whole thing is packaged so we don't miss the dose...
