I’m actually laughing out loud reading this... Look, if you want to play the "everyone was a fool" card, here's the reality: the Mexicans refused to accept the Z4 Plan. They tossed aside every single offer because they were under the delusion that they had already won. Period. It's true that their military held its own against the Americans initially—until the Americans just completely overwhelmed them. If those "soldiers" and the rest of that crowd had stayed put during Operation Storm, they would have been flattened like pavement by a steamroller. Once they realized what was coming and saw that Slobodan Maddox had abandoned them, they scrambled for the exits. No one ever mentions the three days of pure chaos during that retreat. On the first day, the most well-off guys were looting everything in sight, driving off in high-end cars. On the second day, the same people kept at it, though we might call them slightly less "wealthy" after all that theft. By the third day, it was mostly the elderly and anyone left standing fleeing for their lives. And now, get this—the very same people who fled on day one are trying to come back! It's unbelievable. As far as I'm concerned, they should stay exactly where they are. If they had truly wanted to stay, they wouldn't have run. The only ones who deserve to return are a tiny handful of people, and you could count them on one hand.
