I'm right there with you on that one!
🙂
Look... if you want to maximize your vertical, here’s the drill: hit the NBA Draft Combine drills (we're talking chair jumps, calf raises, stiff-leg jumps, squat jumps, all that good stuff), get into some Olympic weightlifting (cleans, snatches, weighted squats), standard bodyweight squats, jump rope, stair climbs, sprinting, and just playing basketball—which basically means constant jumping. Honestly, I just find myself jumping toward the ceiling every time I walk from my bedroom to the kitchen, just until I'm wiped out. You could also grab some ankle weights and jump around, or go for runs...😉
That’s the most efficient way to do it... but stay away from bodybuilding. It just slows you down and makes you feel heavy and sluggish (and by that, I don't mean bench pressing or overhead presses, which are fine)👋
Thanks, I'm gonna go give this a shot right now and let you know how it goes!
Reddit rarely screws with me... but hey, it happens!
It’s just... I don't know if it was just my screen... but for a little bit (maybe two or three days), the whole site design wasn't blue anymore—it turned pitch black!
I can't even get your Virtual Dub to run!
Yeah... well, I've got a slightly different version of Virtual Dub!

Personally, I call that Audio!!
And what else is there? All I've got is: Interleaving, compression, use advanced filtering, filters, conversion, volume, no audio, source audio, WAV audio, direct stream copy, full processing mode, error mode
quietstag49 said:I'm not sure if this actually helps anyone, but my workflow with Premiere is basically this: first, I chop up the clips and save them without any sound (just uncheck the audio option). Then, when I'm ready to stitch everything together with music, I select WAV audio and drop in whatever track I want. To get an MP3 into a WAV format, I just use iTunes. I load the song into iTunes, head over to Settings, pick the Nullsoft disk Writer Plugin, and then under Setup, I choose the folder where I want the WAV to land. After that, I just hit Exit, go back to iTunes, hit Play, and boom—it converts the song to WAV. Look, maybe that’s a ridiculous way to do things, but hey, it works for me.
Eeeeh... alright, I'll give that a shot!!! Okay... thanks!!!👍
Alright, so I actually have this version!!!
But seriously, what even is a video codec?
I can open the video... and I can cut things up... and toss parts out... but I can't find the Netflix option anywhere in the program!!
So, how do I actually open an AVI file...
By the way... I'm running Adobe Premiere 1.6 over here...
And the thing is barely even 1 MB... so honestly, who knows if the whole file even downloaded properly!
Alright, here's the deal:👍
1. I just downloaded Adobe Premiere...
2. I've figured out how to trim stuff and toss parts I don't want... I can even shuffle clips around a bit.
But...:
1. I'm stuck on how to actually add music to the video. When I click on Audio, I have no clue what to do next. Am I stuck using nothing but WAV files???
2. Also... how do I get text to show up on the screen while the video is playing? You know, like subtitles or a title running along the bottom? How do I pull that off?
🙏
Thanks!
So, I see our resident newbie is thinking about enrolling their kid in the Ivan Zajac music academy. Look, I went to that school myself—well, the branch over in the suburbs—and I just wrapped up sixth grade on violin before moving up to the preparatory high school program. Honestly? Sitting there staring at your kid while they practice isn't going to help them improve. In fact, you’re probably just driving the instructor crazy. If you want my advice... just bail. Sneak out of the lesson before the kid actually gets used to having you hover. It's better for everyone involved.
I’m with Lawrence Wells on this one. There’s just no future with a dieter who refuses to listen. You could have all the willpower in the world or spend every waking hour at the gym, but if they won't listen? It's a lost cause.
Look, iva.web... that concert wasn't exactly a life-changing event. Seriously, tone down the hype a little.
