Of course, we are meeting TOMORROW at 6:15 PM 😉

The entire essence of Zen Buddhism is found within the NOW.

Of course, it remains centered in the NOW, doesn't it?👍

Bodhidharma’s answer? He basically said, "Your own mind is the enlightened one."
What was the point there? It means you need to quit looking everywhere else and start looking inward. Stop trying to comment, judge, or overanalyze everything—that's just creating distance between you and the world. This is personal stuff. If you actually care about this, then go do the work instead of sitting around arguing about it.

I suppose their minds are enlightened too, they're just perhaps a bit more convoluted than most.😉 Oops, there I go again, jumping to conclusions! But what else can one do?🙄
I am joking, of course, though I do think you hit the nail on the head.🙂

If you truly possessed such knowledge, would you even feel the need to assert it?😉

Douglas Brown4 said:Deep insight and strong faith, I suppose. 😁

To be honest: I don't know, but then again, what do any of us actually know?

Perhaps, we only truly know our own 😁

"Are you a dog person or a cat person?"

If she says "dogs," then maybe skip it.
If she says "cats," then you should probably try harder.

And yeah.
Ask her this:
"Would you rather sleep in the same room as your son or your father?"
That'll tell you if she's an Isadora type or... well, I can't remember what else, since I wasn't paying attention when Quentin was teaching me.
If she isn't an Isadora type, go ahead and make your move.

Also, you definitely need to figure out if she's a Venus, a Mercury, or a Mars.
The Venus and Mars types are usually fine. But the Mercury types? Not so much, they just talk too much.

There you go. That's what the great ladies' man taught me.

Man, by the time I finish all that interrogation and analysis, someone else is going to swoop in and steal her!🙄

Sometimes, what lacks subtlety is actually the most subtle thing of all. It’s like watching a high-stakes poker game where the player isn't even trying to hide their bluff—yet, that very lack of pretense is exactly how they manipulate the entire table. It hits you only after the hand is over.
I don't view the world around me as some mere projection of my own mind. It’s a consensus. A collective agreement. Is that really so hard to grasp?
A consensus? What kind of consensus are we even talking about?🙄

Good grief. I think I already made this clear: it happens through an agreement between all individual conscious units. That includes my own consciousness and yours—since, as you can see, I maintain that consciousness is individual, much like what Teilhard de Chardin argued (I'll find a specific quote for you in my planner later)—as well as everyone else's.
And that is how we construct a collective image—essentially, the universe itself. It isn't just limited to human consciousness, I guess. It likely involves the awareness of every being across all worlds, every single particle, and the global consciousness of the quantum vacuum.
Man, this one really hits home! Honestly, I feel like giving you a high-five for this, because once I charm someone with a perspective like this (don't worry, I won't try it on you), I'll be set.
Thanks a lot!🙏

Hannah Wilson3 said:And both exist only within the mind of Quinn.

Hen to Pan taj Rea ki

Hen to Pan =
All is One

Panta Rhei =
Everything flows—everything is in constant motion.

Rei Ki =
The universal, cosmic energy.

Summary:
Everything is a single, universal energy that is perpetually moving.

Which means:
There is no goose and there is no bottle—they are merely external forms of energy that will eventually shift into some other shape.
There is no goose in a bottle because boundaries are an illusion; you could just as easily have a bottle inside a goose—it doesn't matter when they are made of the exact same essence.
There is no goose in a bottle in the minds of the forum users—because the Koan has been resolved.

You are absolutely correct. The Koan was clarified as far back as the very first page; those who saw it, saw it!
Hen to Pan =
All is One
It is one regardless, since All is one!😉

Why on earth would I leave when things are going so well right here?👍 In fact, I might just settle down and sleep right where I am.🙂 What choice do I have when you haven't exactly led me toward the light yet?😲 My head is still absolutely overflowing with nonsense.😉

Austin Hayes66 said:It can be done! 👍 Here’s how:
1-nothing exists
2-nothing is nothing
3-nothing both is and isn't
4-nothing is neither being nor non-being.
👍

So, did you finally grasp the istina, Mr. Weather Forecast? 👍 Just move along then...
🤣🤣🤣👍

Well, you’ve fascinated me once again—4, 3, 2, 1—and I am moving on!

Douglas Brown4 said:I've taken down two wild ones myself. But man, if he only knew how terrible they actually tasted.

Simply skinning them isn't enough to get the job done, is it? Honestly, they are perfectly fine to eat—it really just comes down to whether or not you know the right way to prep them.

I truly envy you and your supposed "vast knowledge." Oh, Presvetla! Please, grant us some of that enlightenment—all of us who hold istina dear.
Lead us toward that place where the fist strikes true, where the palm opens wide, and where fingers vanish into the strength of a clenched hand.

Douglas Brown4 said:The sound even carries through the glass. I guess I'm doing you a favor by smashing the windows around you and scattering those geese that have latched onto you. That's probably why you feel free. But you aren't. Your glass, your bottle—those are your geese. 2=0.

So, you're breaking the glass? To me, it looks more like you're just blowing smoke. And honestly, why are you so obsessed with his leeches? Is there some kind of personal grudge at play here, or did he just happen to strip one off of you or something?

Austin Hayes66 said:Of course not... don't let some amateur pundit get under your skin, you aren't Zeno.
Compared to that goose, you're basically Zeno, yeah... 👍👍
And since he's just a bottle to you, stop trying to have a conversation with a damn bottle... 🤣🤣

But really, what can I even say to you when you clearly have all the answers already? Oops, looks like I've spilled my drink!

Douglas Brown4 said:Maybe we’re just being a little envious, huh? You don't really need any of that. I guess you should just focus on Q. It's probably best to celebrate the win before the war is even over. He hasn't even replied to you yet.

If you've managed to catch the ego of this total clown, why on earth would you assume everyone else is acting the same way? I honestly didn't even notice that he had responded. In fact, I haven't the slightest clue where he even is. Honestly, I'm too busy chasing after some geese to keep track of such things.

Douglas Brown4 said:You have a point; they asked for this themselves. When they come after me, I suppose I'll just let you deal with them. I guess we'll see how that ends up playing out.

Honestly, this whole thing was over before it even truly began. Just sit back, enjoy the show, and remember to stick to the math.

What a circus!
Which goose are we even talking about?
