Dana Cooper6 said:I suppose there isn't a single pregnancy test out there that wouldn't have detected a pregnancy if you had truly been pregnant for this long. Beyond that, I imagine you would have noticed some physical symptoms by now. Furthermore, if I have researched this sufficiently 😍 😍, you should be well past the two-month mark by now, and it seems quite unlikely that nothing at all would be happening within your body. You mentioned your cycles have been irregular, and a ten-day delay doesn't necessarily mean anything specific. While I understand that spotting can occur during pregnancy, it is exceedingly rare, and usually only happens if intercourse occurred immediately before a period, though from what I gather, that was much earlier in your case.
Perhaps it would be best to visit your OB-GYN; that is certainly something you should do, along with seeking advice regarding your use of birth control. One cannot simply take pills for five months and then stop for another five months, for instance. It is also possible they aren't right for you at all.
Secondly, birth control is only effective if you are entirely certain your partner is being faithful and that you are in a committed relationship. I don't wish to lecture you on safety, but if you aren't in a steady relationship, I believe you should prioritize using condoms—not just for the sake of preventing pregnancy, but for health reasons. In those instances, pregnancy is often the least of your concerns. (To me, a baby is never a problem, but rather a blessing 😍)!
No matter how hard one tries, I find it difficult to comprehend such a lack of responsibility toward one's own body. Once the consequences arrive, they are permanent.
Please forgive me if I sound too harsh; it is certainly not my intention, but...
You should definitely see your doctor; you won't make a mistake by doing so. I believe every woman and girl should undergo regular check-ups, even before seeing a dentist, if she intends to bear children and be happy someday...
Good Luck!🙂 And please, let this serve as a lesson.
Be sure to update us on what happens!🙂
P.S.: Honestly, I suspect you aren't pregnant! A test would have shown it by now...
First of all... THANK YOU for such an extensive response, thank you so much....🙂
Actually, I also think a test would show I am pregnant... if I had been pregnant for this long, but currently, I am just overwhelmed with fear, which is why I suspected it in the first place. Because of that anxiety, I have spent the last few days reading everything I can about pregnancy and early symptoms... but I haven't found anything concrete, which is why I am so worried... especially since most places I read say the early symptoms are almost identical to PMS... so I have probably just turned my PMS into pregnancy anxiety... or at least, I hope it's just PMS....
Though I am unsure when the initial symptoms begin, or when they transition into more distinct changes that would allow me to conclude how my body is altering... and how it is changing...
Regarding the pills, I took them for two years... and stopped six months ago, per my doctor's recommendation, because they were causing migraines... At that time, I was in a stable relationship.... And the guy I was with wasn't a stranger... we have known each other for years and are very close friends... we wanted to try a relationship, but we quickly realized our friendship worked much better 🙂 I know that isn't an excuse for unprotected sex... but I am confident in his health....
I don't view this as a lecture, but rather as well-meaning advice, and I am grateful to you for it...
As for the gynecologist... I have intended to go for a check-up for some time now, but it has been difficult to organize, as I live commuting between two cities, and I am only in the city where my doctor is located on weekends....
To be perfectly honest... I am truly hoping that I'm not pregnant. I have such a deep affection for children and would love to have them someday, but I just don't feel like the timing is right. I suppose I simply lack the necessary stability at this moment, and perhaps I am not quite emotionally prepared either...
Thank you once again for your response... and for all of your advice...
I will let you know how things turn out 👍
Best regards,
