Alright, here’s the deal. I took a test.
Negative.
During my workout today, I felt this sharp pain in my abdomen and started bleeding—but it wasn't my period, just some light spotting...
Has anyone else dealt with something like this?
Could it be related to pregnancy? According to the test—I used an Easy Test—it says I'm not pregnant, but still...
Please, I just need some insight. No judgment, please; I’m not trying to be a nuisance or anything.
So, first off, thanks.
It’s my first time popping in here, and honestly, I haven't really scrolled through the other threads yet, so bear with me.
I realize you all probably get a thousand questions just like this one, but I wanted to be specific, so...
Thanks again.
Look, I owe the mod an apology. I know this thread probably belongs somewhere else, but honestly? Thinking isn't exactly my specialty. It’s pretty obvious from this whole mess that logic and deep thought aren't exactly my strongest suits.
My bad.
But please, I’m begging you guys to weigh in. Right now, you're really my only shot at figuring this out.
Alright. So. I assume you guys have heard this whole saga a thousand times before, but if there’s a kind soul out there with some actual experience who can weigh in on... this:
He had unprotected sex with me, though he didn't ejaculate inside. Still, I'm well aware that "pulling out" isn't exactly a reliable form of birth control—a friend of mine actually ended up pregnant that way...
I wasn't really spiraling until about two or three days before my period was due.
Then the anxiety kicked in, and now, I'm two days late.
Normally, this wouldn't be a huge deal because my cycle is pretty much clockwork, unless I catch a cold.
But since I haven't even had a sniffle this month, nothing is happening.
So, yeah. Day two of a late period.
I rushed to the pharmacy, picked up a test (the SIGN brand for $7.25, just one of those tiny strips), and did everything by the book. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
There should have been one or two blue lines, but there's nothing there. Not even under a bright light.
My back is aching a bit, but honestly, that doesn't feel out of the ordinary. No nausea, no weird discharge, no metallic taste in my mouth. And since I've dealt with bladder issues since I was a kid, frequent urination doesn't even register as a symptom to me.
I know I might be being dense here, but the box mentioned a threshold of 25 HCLTech. I don't really get how they measure that, but is it possible for my HCLTech levels to be so low that the test just fails to pick it up? Or is that impossible?
Help me please :'(
PS: Can an infection be a symptom of pregnancy, or could an infection actually be what's delaying my period?
Please let me know, as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance.😕
