I don't know if anyone else is dealing with this, but for the last week, I’ve been waking up with this intense heat in my face. It feels like my skin is literally on fire, and my throat is a little sore too. Why am I feeling this sudden flush? On top of that, I've been running to the bathroom constantly lately, and when I go, it feels like there's this heavy pressure in my lower abdomen. My period is due any day now, but I haven't had any PMS symptoms, so now I'm freaking out that it might actually be pregnancy—especially since my flow has been totally normal for the last two months. Please, if anyone has advice, let me know.
Can someone please tell me if the antibiotics, cough suppressants (like Pholcodin), and painkillers I'm taking for this flu are going to mess with the results of a Clearblue test or any other kind of rapid test?
I don't know what's going on with me, but this back pain just won't quit. I've been taking 400mg of Advil twice a day—one pill at a time—and it’s doing absolutely nothing. My doctor didn't even bother running tests or anything; he just handed me the prescription and sent me on my way. To make things worse, a few days ago I started getting this weird tingling sensation shooting through my legs, especially around my knees and calves. If anyone here has dealt with something similar, please give me some advice. What could be causing this?
thanks everyone, I honestly think my body is just hurting from something else because I really don't think I'm pregnant
Can someone please tell me when back pain usually kicks in during pregnancy? For the last 10 days or so, my lower back has been absolutely killing me. It doesn't matter if I'm sitting, walking, or lying down—I just can't get comfortable. My doctor handed me some pills and basically called it a day. No real explanation, no thorough exam, nothing. Just "take these."
My last period was February 11th, and right before that, I actually went to see an OB-GYN who told me I wasn't pregnant. Now my back is throbbing, I'm feeling a bit nauseous, and honestly, I'm starting to freak out about what's going on. Thanks in advance.
I’ve been dealing with lower back pain for about ten days now, and over the last couple of days, it’s become absolutely unbearable. My doctor handed me some pills, but he didn't actually tell me what's causing the pain. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? What should I do? It hurts so bad I can barely lie down or even walk.
I finished an entire pack of pills, but during my seven-day break, I’m not even sure if my period actually showed up because I just had this weird brownish spotting. I took my last pill on January 10th, so now I have no clue when my next period is supposed to hit. Also, does having a bowel movement before my first morning pee mess with the results of a pregnancy test? I don't think so, but who knows.
if it's been 28 days since the last time we had sex (back on Jan 6th) and the condom broke a bit later (Jan 26th), do you guys think a test would show a pregnancy by now? I know I'm being annoying and asking probably stupid questions, but I really need some advice here. Thanks.😘
Look, I know this is a bit of a brain dump, but I’m hoping you guys can make sense of it and give me some actual advice. Thanks in advance.
Can someone please tell me if I can actually trust this Clearblue test? I took it this morning, 28 days after the last time we had sex, and it came back negative. Honestly, I have no idea when my last period was or when this one is supposed to show up because I’ve been on Yasmin birth control. It was honestly such a nightmare to deal with—I was spotting the entire month I was taking them. Now my breasts are sore, I’m running to the bathroom constantly, and my appetite is through the roof, but I know those could just be PMS symptoms too. I went to see my OBGYN and she basically said it’s way too early to tell anything for sure. She told me to just grab another test to be certain, but she doesn't think I'm pregnant and wants me back for a follow-up in seven days. She did an ultrasound and said my endometrial lining is at 7mm, which means my period should be coming soon...
The reason I'm freaking out is because I'm terrified I might actually be pregnant. While I was on the pill, we were using a condom and it actually broke right after I took my sixth pill for the cycle. I rushed straight to the doctor the next day, and she told me I didn't need emergency contraception because the pill would still protect me. I just need to know—was I actually covered? Even though the side effects from the pills were brutal, I didn't vomit, so I'm assuming they worked, right?
