Saving for my kid in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Why tie up savings in a dedicated child's account? I opened a standard fixed-term savings account in my daughter's name, acting as her legal guardian. I simply renew the contract every year. Standard savings accounts actually offer better interest rates than those specific children's accounts.
Of course, I have zero intention of touching that money. It’s not like I need the Department of Social Services breathing down my neck about it.

Use Contractubex. You can start applying it as soon as the scabs fall off...
I wouldn't want to let you down, but I've definitely had months where my period was just like that...

I’ve been lurking here forever, but this is actually my first time jumping in to say anything. Honestly, I see so many women popping up on here doubting if they’re pregnant, only to come back a few posts later posting those positive results.
Me? I’ve been trying to get pregnant for ages, but nothing. I was pretty sure my fertile window hit earlier this month and thought, "Okay, this is finally it," but then I took a test and... just one single line. I even checked it again after ten minutes—which I know you aren't supposed to do—but there wasn't even a faint, pathetic little shadow of a second line. Nothing at all.
Now, I should probably admit a couple of things: I took this test a week ago, and my period isn't even due until tomorrow or the day after. Yeah, yeah, I know, I know... I just couldn't help myself.
Also, this is like my sixth or seventh test already. My hope is basically hitting zero at this point, and honestly, I don't even have the energy to follow the instructions perfectly anymore.
Anyway, that's the update for now. I don't want to be typing all night!
BTW, big shoutout to everyone in this thread, and huge congrats to all the moms-to-be out there! 😘 😘 😘

You tested way too early. A test only works once you've actually missed your period.
run a test

God, just thinking back to when I was obsessively waiting for that tiny little speck to show up on the screen... and now? Now I'm stuck shopping for those maternity belly bands to help hold everything up (honestly, they are so incredibly unflattering 😢) because I am carrying everything so low right now. 🤣

But they're practical 👍
When it's positive, it is NEVER an error👍

I'm a bit anxious because I'm not feeling any of the typical symptoms. All I have is breast tenderness that feels just like my PMS, but the usual stuff—nausea, cramping, or that weird metallic taste people talk about during pregnancy—just isn't happening. I guess I'll find out for sure when I head to the clinic this Monday.🙂))

It's all subjective. I only had sore breasts.🙂
Take a quick look back at the previous pages... we've already broken this down in several spots...
You’ve been counting from the very first day of your last period...

I’ve got a question for you 🙂))
My boyfriend and I had sex just two days after my period ended.
The period itself started one day after that and lasted about five days.
We took a pregnancy test 23 days after having sex and it was negative.
Then we tested on the day my period was supposed to start—negative again. Finally, when I was already 4 days late,
we did another test (Clearblue) and it was still negative.
My breasts started feeling sore seven days before my period was due, and they’re still hurting now, plus I’m already 7 days late. Is it actually possible for a test to be falsely negative three different times? Or am I just late for some other reason?

Thanks!!

It isn't a "false" negative... You just tested too early the first two times. You should test starting around the second day of a missed period. If that last test was negative, you're probably not pregnant. Breast pain could just be PMS. Your best bet is to call your OBGYN...
28 + 6 days—so roughly 34 days since your last period or when you finished your pill cycle, if I'm following you correctly... Honestly, I don't think you're pregnant because those pills provide protection against unwanted pregnancy even without a condom.

Did you take the pills consistently throughout the entire cycle, or did you stop because of side effects?
