Even though the instructions say you should wait until the day you expect your period, I'm terrified I might have taken it too early. I honestly don't think I can make it until Tuesday when I finally have my appointment with my OB-GYN without cracking from the anxiety. I took the test two days after my period was supposed to start, which was also 12 days after I actually had sex, but the box says you need to wait at least 19 days after the encounter for it to be accurate. I'm just so confused... I feel like I'm going crazy with all this worrying...

So I was reading up on this, and apparently, it says you can test as early as the day your period is expected. Or, if you aren't even sure when that should be, you wait about 19 days after having sex... I ended up testing two days after my period was late, though that actually worked out to be the 13th day after we had sex.

It’s me again, back for more... when is the absolute earliest I can actually take another test? I did one last night and it came up negative, but I’m starting to get a little anxious because my period just isn't showing up. It’s three days late now, which is unheard of for me since I'm usually clockwork... I picked up an Clearblue test at CVS to try my luck again.

I was reading some stuff online that suggests if your period doesn't show up within two weeks of having sex during your fertile window, that's the first sign of pregnancy.
