Thank you all so much for the support; reading such kind words is truly encouraging. I haven't received any news just yet. Regarding the testing, I followed the protocol and took a test two days after my missed period, which came back negative. However, based on my calculations, conception likely occurred around October 31st, which means there is simply no way anything would be visible on an ultrasound just yet. I plan to be patient for another week, though I will keep a close eye on things if I start feeling even slightly feverish. I am holding onto hope that we will see a little one soon. Even my godmother is getting excited; she keeps telling me to look after her future godchild and to make sure I'm eating enough small snacks for the sake of the baby I am so eagerly awaiting. Thank you everyone, and I will be sure to update you all as soon as I have more information.🙂Extremely sleepy🙏
I am in no rush at all; rather, I find myself in a state of eager anticipation, hoping for positive news. I have already consulted with my OB-GYN, and everything appears to be perfectly fine from a medical standpoint, though nothing can be visually confirmed regarding the pregnancy just yet. My period is also late. In my view, expectant mothers should be met with support and encouragement rather than being discouraged. When one encounters posts like this, it makes it incredibly difficult to remain optimistic, and quite frankly, it causes me to lose hope.😢
It is now the sixth day 🙂 since my last cycle ended, and I have yet to see even the slightest sign of pregnancy on a home test. Is it possible that the fetal development isn't progressing at the expected rate, or perhaps my ovulation occurred much later than anticipated? If so, is it truly impossible for an OBGYN to detect anything via ultrasound at this stage? Normally, I experience significant bloating leading up to my period, yet this month, I feel almost nothing. I am at a loss as to how to proceed; the uncertainty is becoming quite overwhelming. Should I request a blood test to check my HCG levels? Please, I would appreciate any guidance you can offer. Thank you all.
I am currently sixteen weeks along, though it feels as if time is moving quite slowly. I find myself longing for one more addition to our family; I have a two-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son, both of whom have been absolute joys in my life. I suppose I can endure this period of waiting just a little longer, hoping that we might see one more positive sign and welcome a small new blessing into our home. Until then, I honestly cannot fathom how I will manage to cope with all this uncertainty.🙂
Greetings to everyone. I am a newcomer here, and I find myself facing a bit of a dilemma. To keep this brief and avoid taking up too much of your time, my period is currently five days late. My husband and I have been planning to welcome our third child, so this delay has left me quite uncertain. I have already taken a home pregnancy test, which returned a negative result. Furthermore, I visited my OB-GYN for an ultrasound, but nothing could be seen yet; she advised me to simply wait another week. What should my next steps be? Any guidance or advice you could offer would be sincerely appreciated. My son is already asking for a little sister.🙂We hope that a little angel will be joining us very soon.🙂
