Wow, you’re actually a jerk! Why didn't you just use spoiler tags or something??? 😠🙂

Just watched it...
It’s definitely not as good as the first one, though there were a few funny moments here and there..

Going to check out 👍
tomorrow. The first one was actually pretty good—now we’ll see if this one holds up.

The book does a great job explaining how she lost her footing after her father passed away; Katniss had to step up and take care of both her mom and Prim, basically becoming their provider...
I can't recall every single detail since I read it about a year ago, but if I remember correctly, there was one day she couldn't sell anything at all—nothing to bring home... she just sat outside Peet's bakery crying in the rain until he came out and gave her some bread... I think she even fought with her mom about it because she wanted to throw it away... and Katniss has never forgotten that.
Once she became a Priest and Peeta was selected, that memory came flooding back, and ever since then, she feels this deep sense of obligation to look out for him.

Karen Richardson3 said:Honestly, I wouldn't even want that scene included because the whole "love triangle" thing feels so poorly executed to me... and I think adding a scene like that would be totally pointless since the movie didn't even do a good job explaining why Peeta matters so much to Katniss in the first place.

To be real with you guys, based on how the first movie played out, I spent most of my time thinking Peeta was actually kind of a jerk. And that whole bread scene? It was handled so clumsily and made so little sense that I don't even feel like getting into it. 😁

🙏
The third installment itself didn't really wow me... I thought the second one was better... though I can't say this movie wasn't decent enough.
In my opinion, forcing that love triangle is completely unnecessary when it's obvious Katniss ends up with Gale—and like you mentioned, the movie doesn't explain it well at all. But those of us who read the books know exactly why Katniss protects Peeta so fiercely and why he's so vital to her... and I agree, that bread scene was a total mess; they could have done so much better.☕

I haven't checked this thread yet, but I have a feeling there’s plenty to talk about here...😉
So, go ahead—drop the title of a movie and a specific line of dialogue or a monologue that actually stuck with you.

Not even just that—if anyone is still alive 😬 from the era of that Guy from the French Revolution who inspired the mask in the first place, I’d love to see them sue the comic writers, the filmmakers, and the actors. 😬
p.s. I stole this avatar too 😉
edit: Honestly, Reddit should probably get involved here; once these laws actually kick in, platforms are going to lose users. For instance, a site like Netflix might just shut down its documentary division because we won't be allowed to access the truth about what's happening in our series anymore.
Or rather, we simply won't be permitted to know.

I’ve gone through them all...
The first one was excellent.
The second was solid.
Third was just okay.
The fourth was total garbage—plus, you've got that ridiculous Quinn from OTh acting in it 🤦.
The fifth is watchable, but nothing special.

I actually waited until the very end to check it out—plus, my audio was acting up at first 😬 so I finally decided to give it a go. Honestly? It’s pretty interesting. I'm actually getting ready to dive into the second part tonight. I'm not expecting a masterpiece—let's be real, these movies are total trash—but it's definitely worth a watch if you have the time 👍

I caught the first one last night, and honestly, it was fantastic 🙏
Of course, having Devon and Ali in it is a massive bonus—I absolutely love them 😍
I'm diving into the sequel tonight; I'll let you know what I think 👍

Alright, here’s my take:
Dead Silence (2007)
That 6.0 on IMDb is way too generous—honestly. I could tell from the opening scene exactly how much of a disaster this was going to be, but I stuck it out until the credits just because Donnie Wahlberg and Ryan Kwanten were in it... though even that barely saved me. I'm struggling to find a single positive thing to say about this movie; calling it a horror is being kind, because the real horror is how bad it is. There were moments where I was legitimately fighting to stay awake... anyway, don't make the same mistake I did and skip this one.

This thread is basically a heads-up system—a way for us to warn each other about movies we’ve sat through that were total wastes of time. If you’re thinking about watching something and see a warning here, consider this your sign to skip it instead. 😉

So, I'm trying to use WMM to trim some specific scenes out of a video, but it just isn't working for me. 🙂

So, I actually just started a YouTube channel... Just to get things moving, I figured I'd throw up a song and pair it with some visuals like THIS

I’ve never actually made a video before, so if you guys could point me toward something that’s high quality but also easy to pick up... thanks! 👍
