that could actually look really cute...😉
Personally, I'd prefer if all the bottles looked uniform... basically, pick one design and mass-produce them like a factory line 😁
that's exactly how I'm going to do it—everything will be identical...😍
By the way, did you already get those bottles (the ones from Sprite, right?) if so, where on earth did you find them...

I went with the exact same approach. I just wrapped some twine around the neck of the bottle, tied a little bow, and slapped on a custom label with the bride and groom's names and the date underneath. It doesn't feel overdone at all, it looks pretty clean.👍

she went through all her friends who run local coffee shops and diners
asking them to save them for us.
I'm looking for about 200 pieces, but at this rate, I’ll probably end up with
way too many.
How many do you need? I might have enough to cover you, too.

Wait, you're planning on using that many bottles? I've got 300 guests coming, so I was just thinking maybe 50 would do—just enough for one type of bourbon. Do you think that's cutting it too close??

I picked up $34 100 units
from West Marine.

Oh man, you are seriously a lifesaver! Thank you so much, Lady, I honestly don't know what I would've done without you. You totally bailed me out, so I'm definitely heading straight to the store right after I clock out today to grab everything. 🙂 Thanks again, seriously! 😉

Chloe Evans6 said:We stopped by the busiest, most popular coffee shop in town... so... I'm honestly pretty worried... we're going to check with a few other places too, but I have my doubts—if the folks at this one are telling the truth 😕
I really hope I can find them, otherwise all my little plans for decorating those bottles will just go down the drain 😢😢😢

Look, we're tight with a couple of the servers, so we actually put them on the job to help us hunt some down, plus we know the owners of two local spots who gave us the all-clear too. When is the big wedding happening? If you need me to go out and find some for you, just say the word and I'll get it done. 🙂

I was wondering if anyone might know where I can pick up some cork stoppers for those Orange bottles around Columbus? Thanks in advance! 🙂

If anyone’s out there hunting for glass vials, cork stoppers, or just some other random little bits and pieces, you should definitely check out the Bumblebee site—they’ve got just about everything you might need.

I used mini Sprite bottles, but I definitely didn't leave them looking like that! I spray-painted them white and topped them with green tulle and a little white rose—my wedding theme was strictly white and green. To top it off, I ordered custom pearl-style toppers instead of regular caps... they looked absolutely stunning!

Where on earth did you order those caps from, and what did they run you? Also, if it’s not too much trouble, could you please post a photo? 🙂 No pressure, really, but I'm currently on the hunt for the perfect caps ☕ since my color scheme is also white and green... I was originally hoping to find tiny cork stoppers, but I have no clue where to track those down... and I've never even heard of those pearl ones, so I'm dying to see how they turned out. Thanks in advance!😁

blueowl88 said:First, thanks for the heads-up about the balloons. I was genuinely curious about that, and I didn't feel like making the trip to Vegas myself. Thanks a lot. 😍
I'm not entirely sure about the price of those cake toppers (I think it was around $50, but don't hold me to it because I can't recall exactly), but I am CERTAIN I saw them at Bagaric Bakery in Chepin. They carry them in two sizes, if I remember right.
I ordered my cakes and dessert somewhere else, and the lady there offered to "rent" them to me for the cake (so I could return them later), but I turned her down because I wanted something custom. You might want to check other bakeries... they probably have them. It's always worth checking or, at the very least, giving them a quick call.

Heh, hey... no worries at all. If I can pass along at least one useful tip, then it's all good 😉. Man, I was really dreaming of those funny little figurines where the bride is basically dragging the groom along, or something equally wild, but once I saw the price tags, I realized I should probably just stick to some nice floral arrangements or something similar. My mom has some old toppers lying around, but honestly, they aren't really my style... 🙂

I actually picked up those bows in the hallway, though I spotted them over in Vegas too—but honestly, everything there is such a mess and feels so dirty compared to the hallway, which is way cleaner. I ended up grabbing some balloons in the hallway as well, $2.75 a whole pack of 100.

Hey girls, so I swung by Vegas yesterday, specifically that spot right behind the Super store. I don't know who gave me the tip, but someone on a forum mentioned everything there was a total steal. Honestly? I am beyond disappointed. I went in looking for those little edible toppers for cake decorations—you know, the ones you put on top of a fancy cake. And get this, that absolute nonsense cost me $93. Like, seriously?? It’s such a joke. And nothing about it felt cheap. Even getting some helium filled for balloons was $1.75. It’s just all so overpriced. Maybe I'm being a bit extra, but in my book, those little figurines are way too expensive, the selection is pretty pathetic, and the staff? Ugh. They barely even give you a nod, let alone actually help you out. So yeah, Vegas gets zero stars from me. 😢

velvetpuma61 said:Can someone please tell me what they're charging per chair and what exactly is included in that price?
Thanks!

Jane, we booked this place last year and here’s the breakdown: it was $28 per person, and that covers your first dinner plus unlimited drinks—think original juices, Coke, Fanta, iced tea, sparkling water, red and white wine, and if I remember right, some bitters and whiskey. As for the food, the dinner includes a few different kinds of meat and potatoes prepared a couple of ways, though I can't recall every single side dish on the tray, but everything is all-you-can-eat. Just keep in mind they won't serve leftovers from the first dinner during the second one. For the second night, you can opt for a traditional stew for $10 per person, or you can bring your own roast lamb or pork, but if you go that route, you'll have to pay $5.00 per person to cover the bread, salads, and the server. If you want linens for the tables, that's an extra $3.25 per chair... Honestly, my memory is getting a little fuzzy on the specifics now. Feel free to ask anything else you need, though, even if I've forgotten a detail or two! Oh, and if you want to do lunch in the hall the next day, that's $17 per person.

rapidfox42 said:We booked them back this summer, but honestly—the closer it gets—the more I start to panic since I haven't actually heard them live yet. Your comments really helped calm my nerves 😁

Just a couple more things... do you know how they handle breaks? Like, how late do they play until, and when is your big day? 😁

Usually, those breaks only happen during mealtime or while the newlyweds are busy posing for photos. In all the weddings I’ve been to, the guys basically just slip outside for a quick smoke or to grab a bite to eat really fast. Honestly, I love that vibe. For my own wedding, they told us we could stay until 5:00 PM since our venue in suburban Chicago allows us to hang out in the hall until then, but the manager also mentioned that if the crowd is still vibing and the energy is high, they’d let us stay even later. My big day is set for May 15th, so if you aren't busy later on, you should totally swing by and listen in! 👍🙂

rapidfox42 said:Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences with the Qattro band out of Indianapolis? Would love to hear what you guys think.
Thanks 🙂

Hey rapidfox42, I actually booked the Quattro band myself! Honestly, those guys are awesome—I’ve seen them play at several weddings before, and they totally killed it. In my book, they’re top-tier, and their lead singer is just incredible. Plus, they are so incredibly easy to work with; you can basically negotiate everything with them, like even what color shirt they should wear to match your theme. If you have any specific requests, they’ll even learn a few songs for you if they don't already have them in their setlist... kind of that vibe. They also include a whole group of folk musicians in the price, and they'll come right to your place. If there's anything else you're curious about, just hit me up. Everyone seems to rave about them, so I really don't think you'll regret picking them.😁

darija_5 said:Hey ladies!

Just wanted to let you all know that I’m officially doing makeup artistry out here in the El Paso-Srijem and Osijek-Baranja County areas!

I finally wrapped up my makeup training at Studio 69! Vrbán & Joković I'm telling you, I'll put my money where my mouth is—you are absolutely going to love the work I do.

If there’s anything at all you're curious about or if you just want to pick my brain, don't be a stranger—just shoot me an email! darija_5@net.hr

Hey there! Just dropping in to say hello to everyone. Hope you're all having a killer day!🙂

Hey there! So, I was wondering if you could give me the lowdown on what a trial makeup session looks like and how much that usually runs me? Also, do you ever do house calls, or do I need to come to you? And just out of curiosity, what kind of brands do you typically use when you're working your magic? Thanks a million! =)

So, I ended up booking a photo zoom out in Savannah, mostly because their prices are actually reasonable, though let’s be real—all photos look pretty much the same anyway. Everything else is just getting so ridiculously expensive lately, so I figured I'd save a bit of cash by being picky about the photographer. It’s looking like we’ll be shelling out around $4,000 $1500 or something along those lines. That said, the base package sits right around $3,500, just like someone else mentioned earlier. I’m also planning to grab an album that isn't part of their standard lineup; they have one included, but honestly, it’s not really my style, so I’ll probably pay a little extra to upgrade to a different one, plus I'll pick up some thank-you cards from them too. We still need to sit down and hammer out all the final details before the wedding 🙂

So, I actually had some rings custom-made at that jeweler over at General Mills using white gold, and we’ve been wearing them every single day for about a year now. Honestly? Everything is holding up perfectly. We’re super happy with how they turned out. I even ended up taking one of the rings to a local jeweler just to double-check that the white gold hallmark was legit, and yep—everything checked out fine. Just wanted to share my experience! 🙂

And hey, just thought I’d throw a little tip out there in case anyone is looking for those little treat boxes to hand out to guests when they head out the door. I picked up $53 — a whole pack of 150—over at Subway, and honestly, I think it was a total steal. They’re just your standard, clear plastic 🙂

ruggedtrucker5 said:Personally, I’d suggest the bakery run by Katarina vl. Ljilja Medved Ivankovo in Vinkovci—their pastries are incredible, and the cakes are just as good. Honestly, everything they make is delicious to me. A massive three-tier cake in whatever flavor you fancy is $233 (you won't be able to stop eating it!)...

So, what kind of weight are we talking about when it comes to their dessert spreads? And do they actually handle the delivery right to the venue for you? Thanks! 🙂

swiftcrane31 said:Would anyone be willing to share Diana's number with me? My wedding is coming up this May and I honestly have no clue who might end up being my partner yet...
Does anyone happen to know a great florist around here, and does anyone have an idea of what the typical costs for wedding flowers look like these days? Thanks so much!

Oh man, can I get that makeup artist's number as well?? Seriously, I've got my big day coming up in just five months too, and I was totally banking on Helen from Walmart to handle my look... but that fell through completely. 😢 Now I'm starting to panic a little bit thinking everything won't come together the way it's supposed to. 😢
