Maybe at the Pfizer lab on Rockefeller... right above the infectious disease unit?

Hi there,
I’d love some input on my recent lab results and current meds...
So, I'm currently on corticosteroids (Gilbert's 2 x 16mg) for an autoimmune issue—suspected vasculitis or Cogan's syndrome. My urine test showed high calcium levels (11.7 mmol/dU; ref. 2.5-7.5), though my blood calcium is totally normal. Since my immunologist wants to taper down the Gilbert's dose, she added a few other things, including 1g of Calcium. However, the instructions for Calcium Carbonate say you shouldn't take it if you have high calcium excretion in your urine.
I'm wondering if this might be a mistake or how risky this actually is? I assume it increases the risk of kidney stones, and honestly, I really want to avoid those at all costs...
Thanks in advance.

Wedding cakes and desserts

Hey 🙂
Does anyone have a ballpark idea of what a cake like this would run for at a wedding with about 120 guests?
It's absolutely stunning... I'm obsessed. 😬

Morning!
Checking in as a 23-year-old pregnant woman nearing the end of my first trimester 😁
I had some blood work done for KKS and gave a urine sample last Friday, but the results have me feeling a bit thrown... 😳
I’ll just list the values from everything that fell outside the normal range.
Lab Hematology:
- leukocyte high ref interval 0 13,4 (3,4 - 9,7)
- morphological changes - L= toxic granules in some neutrophilic granulocytes! 😕
Urinalysis:
- appearance - cloudy
- color - yellow
- sediment exam
- erythrocyte - 1-3 (0-2)
- leukocyte high ref interval 0 - 5-7 (0-2)
- squamous epithelium - some
- bacteria - a lot
- crystals - plenty of amorphous salts
I know I need to drink more fluids, so I'm working on that. I'm assuming it's some kind of urinary tract inflammation, but those toxic granules are bugging me... My OB didn't react or even comment on these at all, so I'm wondering if I should reach out to my primary care doctor instead. Is it worth it?
Thanks in advance 😬

Student Loans

Hi there!
So, I have a few questions about these student loans...
What are the requirements besides having a co-signer? Specifically:
-Is it true you have to pass all your exams on schedule? If so, what happens if you fail one?
-Do I need to prove the money is strictly for tuition and school costs? For example, I’d actually love to take out a loan to renovate my apartment... but I don't really have a reason to qualify for financial aid, like living far from NYC or dealing with massive tuition fees.
I'm currently a sophomore in college here in NYC..
Thanks so much for any help!
