How do you find your purpose in life?

So, looking back at this... there might be someone younger than me here, because I was only 16 when I first typed this out
"Here’s what would actually make me happy again—just ditching school, leaving my friends behind, forgetting about the concrete jungle, computers, and those damn USB sticks entirely. I’d just head way out into the middle of nowhere, maybe somewhere like Tibet or whatever, build myself a little cabin, grab a rifle and some ammo—or maybe just a bow—chop my own wood, and have a dog by my side to listen to the wind howling against the walls of some massive canyon...
Then, during the winter, I'd just get a fire going in a fireplace, curl up in a chair with my dog right in front of me, and just... chill......................"
Now I'm 17, so... who's actually the crazy one here?
