Joshua Davis18 said:So, did you actually extract the lame_enc.dll from the archive?

I did—(my bad, okay: flies are confusing; you never really know their gender 😉 ). That’s exactly my point—whenever I try to extract it (the lame_enc.dll, specifically), that little annoying window just pops up.

Audacity is totally free software.

Just try reinstalling it—grab the latest stable version, not some buggy beta.

I don't think the issue is actually with Audacity (honestly, I just got this laptop and had some tech guy set everything up for me, so who knows?), it’s probably something in lame_enc.dll. See, I've got it saved in a zip file, but whenever I try what you suggested, I get hit with that same annoying pop-up—the same one that shows up when I try to reinstall the trial version of Adobe Audition—asking me to buy it online...
Joshua Davis18 said:Basically, you gotta grab the lame_enc.dll
file for Audacity. Just keep the filename exactly as it is.
Drop it somewhere easy to find—like your Documents folder—and when you try to export as an MP3 in Audacity, it’ll prompt you to locate the file. Just hit YES, point it to your Documents folder, and boom.
That's all there is to it.
😉

Tried it. Still nothing. 😵 It keeps telling me to "buy online." Give me a break...🤔

Thanks. 🙂 I actually have it, but I can't make heads or tails of it—honestly. I'm struggling to save the audio tone from a voice memo recording into an MP3 format. Since Adobe Audition and cool EDIT are pretty much identical and I've already spent time learning how to use them, I figured there might be something out there with a similar vibe? I'm definitely no pro, so I'm still figuring this whole thing out.
Hey everyone—does anyone know of any audio software similar to Adobe Audition or cool EDIT pro that I can actually download for free? I’m totally stuck with Coool—I try to download it, get it running, then go to save my track and it hits me with some "limit reached" error. And don't even get me started on Adobe... it just won't let me in. I don't get it. Anyone know a decent alternative that's actually free to grab? Help a person out! Thanks!😘

Man, Rundek totally lost it after that Paris gig... but he’s still a pretty decent guy overall 😬
Why do atheists... in Philosophy ·
Quick question for the believers out there—according to the Bible, can an atheist actually be a good, moral person? Or does the simple fact that they reject God automatically make them unworthy of heaven, eternal happiness, and all that stuff?
