There just isn't any hope coming from the outside. I really don't mean to be harsh, but "God helps those who help themselves," right? So, stop looking for answers in other people and start looking within. Don't wait for a hand to pull you up—grab a shovel, pick up a spade, and dig your own way out. Just my two cents, offered with nothing but good intentions. 🙂

The thing is, there's nothing I can actually do. I can't bypass who I am or step outside of myself. I was just hoping someone could walk me through how they managed to do it, but clearly, these experiences aren't something you can just put into words or wrap your head around. 🙂

It happens to me all the time. 🙂

Right now, "simplicity" feels about as real to me as Baphomet’s invisible blue piglet or some evil pink unicorn. 😁

So, Krinka, did you ever track down that roadside diner people were buzzing about on that other subforum? Or are you still stuck overthinking the "purpose" and "practicality" of it all, just like some of the other folks around here?
😲
I’m still sitting here spiraling, thinking about how I’m basically just a cog in the machine, completely at the mercy of the ego and feeling totally powerless to change it. 😢

I honestly can't wrap my head around how you all managed to settle that conflict without it just turning into another one of those massive ego trips. 😢

Honestly, I think that might be the only reason I’m still hanging around here. I'm starting to lose hope that anyone can actually give me an answer or help pull me out of this rut. 😢

Hey Master, our Krinka couldn't care less about names or fancy details. We just need to know if you have any intel on the restroom situation at these locations—lay it on us. Krinka's in a real bind, and right now, they're closest to this spot:

"TOTAL CHAOS"

The truth is, you gain nothing from anything. In true oneness, there isn't even such a thing as "experience," because there is no separate "self" left to do the experiencing.
🙂 😉
By the way, Karen, did you ever end up finding that diner off the highway everyone was talking about on that other subforum? Or are you still stuck overanalyzing "meaning" and "utility" like everyone else around here?

Nothing, just like they get nothing. Except they don't even realize that part. 😁

What good is any of this to me if I can't actually feel it? It’s just like that story from Endless about fullness and emptiness. They're all just interesting concepts, but if I can't live them—if they don't become my reality—then what's the point? 😢

copperowl2 said:It makes total sense why people feel that way—we generally only find value in the experiences we’ve actually lived through and felt firsthand.
How can someone find meaning in something they haven't even touched yet, especially if they feel they aren't ready for it?

But is there any other way to get that kind of experience besides just waiting around until life drags us there? Is there a different path?

Shut down those external lights that let all the outside noise leak in.
That’s only possible once you finally GRASP how this whole thing is just one big loop—how nothing actually carries weight because everything just ends up right back where it started.

But look, you can't force any of it. Not even a little bit! You can't force protection, you can't force surrender, and you certainly can't force an epiphany or acceptance... It either happens, or it doesn't. 😢

Ideas are everywhere, floating around us constantly, but we only actually absorb them if we’re fertile ground for them. It isn't about willpower; it’s all down to our mental makeup—our internal "software," as Parsifal likes to put it. No one can influence another person unless that person is already primed to receive that specific influence. Take people interested in Spirituality, for instance; most of them might dismiss the idea that Jesus died for our sins as a fairy tale or, at best, a metaphor. But over in the Religion forums, you'll find plenty of people for whom that concept is an absolute reality. It’s not that we have some superior, broader vision while they’ve been brainwashed—it’s just that our mental operating systems are different. Different ideas simply "take root" in different systems. Even what I’m typing right now is nothing more than an idea about ideas. 🙂 One person will find this hilarious, another will think it's nonsense, and someone else will find it totally relatable... For me, it sticks because it clearly fits my software. Every idea seems to emerge from somewhere—maybe from some realm of pure thought? 😉 They live within us for a set amount of time, and once they become redundant, they fade away to make room for something new. This isn't a choice we make, nor does it depend on our willpower. There's nothing we can do to force it. So, honestly, I don't see any reason to be afraid of anyone.

Jealousy in Psychology ·
Is this actually some kind of sickness?

I don't think so. Honestly, I feel like it’s just hardwired into everyone.

How deep does it really run in people?

Pretty much everyone deals with a bit of envy at some point. Some people are just better at masking it, while others wear it on their sleeves.

How do you get past it?

Just ignore it.
Envy is toxic—it eats away at you and serves absolutely no purpose.
The best way is to channel all that energy into something creative instead. Once you're focused on building something, you won't even notice that bitter feeling anymore.
