Hey everyone, here’s my take on a few lines from The New York Times:
"It's all down to a showdown with Team USA in the finals. They're the same squad that knocked us out earlier in the tournament and has been our biggest hurdle in major competitions. But this time, the script is being flipped. These guys are world champions and Olympic gold medalists, led by stars like Balić, Vori, Lacković, Džomba, and a recovering Metličić—who, despite still nursing a knee injury, decided to suit up to show exactly what it means to wear this red, white, and blue jersey. It won't be a walk in the park, no way. But the US has figured out how to exploit a broken defense, and we've proven we can dig ourselves out of deep holes—we pulled through against Norway when it mattered most, and yesterday we didn't let Tunis intimidate us. We have to stay locked in for the entire game. But both the pastor and the players realize they're staring down a historic opportunity. And they aren't going to let it slip away. We have a shot at being world champions and bringing home that first gold medal. That's what I'm rooting for, and that's what I hope happens."
I struggled with anemia for quite a few years back in the day. I was a vegetarian during my teenage years, and honestly, doctors threw all sorts of different medications at me, but nothing seemed to make a dent. Eventually, they put me on some iron supplements—specifically Hefe-Iron—and that finally did the trick; my blood work actually started looking normal. Fast forward a few years later, and my iron levels are totally fine now. I don't deal with those dizzy spells anymore, and I’ve actually put on some weight 😁 As for little kids, you really can't go wrong with plenty of green veggies and meat 😉
I’m honestly living for the day they finally put together an "all-star" squad just to take on our national team, it goes without saying who would walk away with the win here😉 , otherwise, those kinds of matchups only really matter when our guys are at full strength and actually healthy instead of dealing with injuries😁
Just grab the image URL and wrap it in IMG tags—easy as that. 😉
Anyway, speaking of Stone, he was on BHT tonight saying he stays in constant contact with the USA Men's National Handball Team coaching staff. He mentioned that Balic told him today that he can barely even walk anymore, yet the guy is still out there playing like a beast 😲
Ugh, this game is going to be such a snooze fest. We're just going to steamroll them, I honestly think we’ll end up in a total shootout with the Americans, like a mutual suicide mission.😁
Hey, Kemo: I can’t decide if Balić or Vori have better legs or better faces😁
Honestly, looking at this forum lately, it feels like total chaos. If the guy who’s supposedly "in charge," Andarleon or whoever he is, finally decides to show up, I’m calling for some serious changes. It’s honestly pathetic that one single user gets to moderate ten different subforums🙄 , plus, the people running the sports section aren't exactly doing a stellar job. My suggestion would be to bring in mr. ex, a die-hard fan, Vanja, or one of those guys who is practically always online here😉
Also, I don't see any reason why the handball or skiing crowds need to be crashing the "other sports" sections when they're playing at a much higher level, even compared to the famous🙂 American football (over here)😁
Actually, there's one more thing that's been bugging me😁 (for a change) Why do some people on here—and honestly, people in general—think the US national team can't pull off a win without having someone like Metličić or Balić on the court? The team isn't just built on Metličić or Balić; it's about the entire squad working together!!!!!
I’m honestly just wondering why there isn't a dedicated sub-forum specifically for the World Handball Championship?😠 Those guys earned their spotlight a long, long time ago—way before those football idiots got any attention.😠
Anyway, huge congrats to the team on that absolute nail-biter of a win.😁 And the Oscar goes to Vlado Šola.😁 😎
This guy acts like he’s an absolute expert on everything—telling us which defense to run, who should be covering whom, even where the goalie should be aiming his shots... It’s honestly a joke! When the refs make calls against us, nobody says a word, but the second they screw us over, it’s like they’re trying to liquidate the players, the officiating crew, and their entire home country along with it. I’m calling on NBC to get commentators like him and Blazic off the airwaves immediately.👎
Our guys can do no wrong; they're obviously world champions in everyone's eyes, because apparently, they're perfect!!! 🙂
jadetinker85 said:Ugh, what a mess. So some psycho with a bad attitude totally ruined your plans. 🙂 Honestly, he deserves it... maybe toss some firecrackers onto his balcony so he learns exactly who he's messing with! 🙂 🙂 He’ll back down once he realizes you’re actually crazier than he is, and then you can finally sing your heart out in peace. 👍
