Honestly though, I wasn't sweating the score at all. My heart rate stayed chill, unlike when I was practically hunting down my own heartbeat because of those Mexicans😁.

Seriously guys, I felt like some kind of freak superhero. We’re just straight-up invincible, untouchable...

I’ve still got faith in our guys. If they can just play with the same intensity they showed tonight, it's obvious they have the talent to go from being elite to becoming absolute legends of the game.

As Stone put it earlier tonight, "The USA Men's National Handball Team is on a whole different level—it's like they're playing in another dimension."

If this keeps up, I might actually have to dig up that thread I started two years ago just so I can brag about having such incredible foresight.🙂 😁 😁

Anyway, since we’re talking about Stone, he was on BHT tonight saying he stays in constant contact with the American coaching staff. He mentioned that Balic told him today that his legs are basically shot, yet the guy is still out there playing like crazy. 😲

Look, as a certified pessimist, I honestly think our players and the national team staff aren't sleeping a wink tonight. They’re probably busy dreaming up excuses for tomorrow's loss against Germany.
They'll likely say things like, "We're just exhausted, the injuries caught up to us, nobody has ever successfully played this many heavy tournaments in such a short window—four massive ones in two years—we'll get them next time, the guys gave it everything."

I suspect our players might have actually hit a wall, if I'm being honest. They keep sweet-talking us, promising they'll wake up and explode onto the scene, but looking at the reality, they've been struggling to find rhythm in every part of their game since the preseason. Something is always missing. The only time they looked like that old legendary USA squad from the Olympics or the last World Cup was during the match against Spain. We've been waiting for a month for them to play like themselves, but it's just not happening. How many times have we all facepalmed because of these inexplicable mistakes? Balls are slipping through their fingers, bouncing off them like they're hitting a brick wall, and they're missing the entire goal frame. Their shooting percentage is tanking game after game. Against Norway, the perimeter offense was basically non-existent, the wings were totally out of it, and Dzomba was just left stranded in his corner. There's zero dynamics in the play; it's just a total mess... or maybe not. Maybe we'll all be sitting here writing the same thing tomorrow if we lose and realize the semifinals are out of reach, because if that happens, BlackSerbs might just beat us by 12.

Okay, I'm joking a little bit, but let's be real: most of you have lost a good chunk of faith in these players. As for me, I still believe that if they just find their form, they can take anyone down.
Though, I suppose we might have hyped them up a bit too much. They are great, sure, but... nobody wins championships on pure luck alone.

And truthfully, I'm worried they might actually be burnt out. They seem tired to me, like that drive and hunger just isn't there anymore. It feels like they're running on empty.
I really hope I'm just imagining things.

I honestly think the Spaniards are pretty thrilled with that silver medal they just snagged—it’s like they’ve reached their peak and don't really need anything else, right? Besides, our top-tier players basically make their league look good anyway!
