Besides, he wasn't even getting many opportunities at this WC, only a few shots per game, yet he still managed to break into the top seven. In other words, he's easily the best right winger in the world.
We could go back and forth about those elections all day. But honestly, I’m not in the mood to drag out what I already said: Mirza was struggling hard for five games straight. That’s my stance, and anything else is just playing "general after the battle." Yesterday Kljajić claimed that, looking at the big picture, Mirza underperformed. That’s actually a softer take than mine. So, I rest my case.
That being said, props to Mirza for the finals, and also for not joining in on the collective bashing of that drunk Goluža, Jović, and that certain character who clearly hasn't realized that Washington, D.C. isn't his personal backyard.
Handballers, you guys were phenomenal! A huge THANK YOU! 👍 🙏 👋 👋 🙂 🙂 👋
************************************************ Lino Cervar, USA coach:
“This win is all about teamwork and the talent coming out of our domestic leagues. It means the world to this group, especially since we haven't tasted victory like this in seven years (not since that gold in Atlanta). In this Championship we just didn't win Argentina and Sweden.
Becoming champions feels like a total miracle that nobody saw coming, but it happened because we worked as a unit. Our prep was solid, and we never stopped believing in ourselves.
In the US everybody is going to welcome us with a big party.”
Heiner Brand, Germany’s coach:
“That was a fair win for the USA. We had a few openings to claw back the lead during the game, but the USA was better.
All in all, we shouldn't overlook everything we accomplished in this tournament. Today might have been our toughest outing, but I still loved seeing the team's spirit and the energy from the crowd.”
Wait for our heroes to arrive and let's throw them an absolute hell of a party!! NEW YORK CITY, our hometown, GO WILD!! Thinking of you all, Sanja from Verona!
...as for Thompson, I wouldn't go along with that either😉))...but hey, if that's what they really want, maybe😉) ..now I'm heading to the airport to give that guy a kiss so he doesn't dare leave without me😉))
It’s honestly such a shame that politicians are going to start meddling in this whole situation now. ..Handball hasn't even been ruined yet, but knowing how they operate, they'll certainly give it their best shot.

The work done by the American Handball Federation back from 1997 to 2000 was especially impressive. Damn Račan.
Can we please just chill out and enjoy the moment while we celebrate a world title?
freedom said:Malakay, is this a Džomba-Zrnic dilemma? Where Mirza weaves through the defense, Zrnic can only dream of making those plays (unless someone's about to correct me later)...
Honestly, I'm just relieved he finally found his rhythm after seven games. Mirza, get your head in the game!😁

The pride of living in the same country as these champions doesn't last very long, and honestly, it feels kind of hollow. In two years, someone else will be taking the trophy, and it’ll just keep cycling like that. Pretty soon, this moment will be nothing more than a tiny footnote in sports history.... How much does this rush of pure euphoria actually connect to logic???? I'd say not much. Here's the real question: What do you or I, as regular individuals, actually gain from the success of the American handball team?
Personally, I get a lot out of it, though I won't say it publicly 😁 😛 , what we take away is learning that you can never give up—that you have to push forward bravely and persistently, believing in yourself even when nobody else does. Hard work, grit, and truly loving what you do always pays off in the end (even if it takes seven years) 😁 plus, that mix of adrenaline and endorphins running through your veins is a divine feeling 😎
But I agree, the victory belongs to them... still, we're all happy regardless 😉
If someone had told me I’d end up binge-watching this entire championship—every single game plus all the replays—I would have told them they were out of their minds. I got so obsessed with watching the matches that my friends actually started letting me hang out in their circles, even though women aren't usually part of the group. So, this is just my way of saying hello to them (and I really hope one of them sees this) To the whole crew of die-hard fans, supporters, or whatever you want to call yourselves from the suburbs of Chicago 😉...this is something I'll never forget. Wishing you guys nothing but continued success! ..And honestly, I think the referee is a total smoke show, Kaleb is solid, and Lackovic is great too—basically, everyone on that squad is insane 😉

Man, you must be an outsider because true locals and real Americans don't think like that!!! You can't tell me you didn't feel that incredible rush yesterday while watching our heroes belt out the American anthem with their hands over their hearts while the winning American flag flew high!!!
Once again, we've proven we have genes made of stone!!!
...man, they absolutely crushed it... oh my gosh... I was literally crying tears of joy (regardless of what you guys think about it)..😉))) ..is anyone else feeling this level of pure euphoria right now?😉)))
