Honestly, I doubt this will ever actually happen... people have been talking about it for years, but since day one, we haven't moved past the initial hype and all that empty excitement from the media...
Even if they got Savannah ready for racing, the customs officials would probably find something to complain about anyway. There's always going to be some other candidate willing to host NASCAR who'll jump ahead of Savannah on Bernie's priority list.
That said, it would be incredible if NASCAR eventually landed in Savannah. For those of us just a 12 miles away from home, being able to watch Shumi absolutely dominate his rivals in person would be legendary... 😁 😈
Hey there, I’ve noticed people talking about hormonal imbalances here quite a bit. What does that actually entail? What kind of symptoms should I look out for, and what sort of issues can it cause?
Sometimes, I pull away from everyone and everything because I’ve convinced myself that just being around is actually hurting the people I care about most.
When someone I love looks me in the eye and says, "You're toxic for me," it feels like a final judgment—like they've handed me a death sentence. Even when my brain tries to argue that it isn't true, I can't stop myself from taking those words and using them as a noose. Because if I can't be a force for good in the lives of the people I love, then what's the point? I feel completely worthless, like I don't even deserve to exist.

Here’s the heart of the matter...
We all know that hollow, neglected feeling you get when you aren't getting enough support or affection. But there's another side to that misery: that crushing sense of uselessness you feel when you have so much love or help to give, but the person you're trying to reach just won't let you in. It's a different kind of loneliness when your generosity is rejected.
Don't play innocent with us, Kevin Chavez3. You're right here drinking with us every single weekend, so don't start acting high and mighty now! 🙂 We’re just some guys from the local B. P. club, and we wanted to apologize for being a bit much. Look, we aren't total hillbillies, but once things get moving... man, what am I even saying? That Jack Daniel's you serve is absolutely killer—seriously, have you seen the mess it made of us?
Stars are shining bright, just like the waitress' eyes If only you were here so the girls could join the fun too Down my throat slides that fiery, burning sting Let it hit me hard, like a perfectly composed line
Steven Ruiz said:Is this considered folk music? And what kind, exactly? Like some modern pop-country stuff, old-school traditional, or something else entirely? 😁
Nah, it’s actually from Bulldozer, but I can totally see why you'd think it sounds like folk.
Dooooooooooooook saaaaaaaaaam soaking my feet in a tubuuuuuuuuuuuuuu just staring at picssssssssssssss of naked womennnnnnnnnnnnnnn oooooooooooj if only I could be ay-koo-laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I’m all for the idea (though it's easy to say), I just wouldn't go through an Italian label Start your own company, buy up the rights, and then get the CD pressed over in Italy. You could handle distribution through Dancing Bear here in the States and maybe find some partners in other parts of North America. While you're at it, get everything up on the internet and start reaching out to international distributors...
The Blade Runner soundtrack is pure genius by Vangelis I’m absolutely obsessed with that theme from Three Men and a Baby; the way the strings carry the whole movie is just brilliant.
The one thing I truly need to feel is that my existence is a blessing to you.
Maybe what we crave more than affection or attention is the quiet certainty that our presence actually matters to someone else. That’s where we find our sense of worth.
Some psychologists might try to oversimplify this, claiming that the urge to be "good" for someone is just a primal, childish hunger to be wanted. But let's flip that logic: isn't the desire to be wanted really just the desire to know we bring value to another person? It changes everything. It moves the focus from a one-way street—where I'm just a recipient of your care—to an ontological truth: my very existence contributes something to yours. I have to know that. Because if I don't feel that my being is good for you, you could shower me with all the love in the world and it would still feel hollow. In fact, it might even turn me selfish. I could become someone who only knows how to take, never experiencing the pure joy of knowing that my presence nourishes you.
This goes way beyond the simple math of give and take. It’s not about some transactional exchange; it’s something much deeper and more fundamental to who we are.
I need to know that it’s *who I am* that benefits you, not just the things I do for you. I need to know that you see me and find beauty in my very essence.
When I pull away from everyone and retreat into myself, it’s usually because I’ve convinced myself that my existence is actually a burden to the people I love.
When someone I love tells me, "You're bad for me," it feels like a total erasure of my soul. Even if my brain tries to argue against it, those words become a noose. Because if I’m no good to the people I love most, then what am I even here for? It feels like I have no purpose, and therefore, no right to exist.
Perhaps when a cherry blossom tree reaches full bloom right before my eyes, it’s its way of saying, "Your presence makes me thrive... when you look at me as a friend, I flourish!"
When a part of nature or a person you love tells you that, there is no greater gift in this life. **********************************************

I'm going to step away for a second... and lose myself in thought. 👋
Morski vražičko said:they shouldn't have sung that one.. oh how we love you, dear Mexican generals... Mladic, Sljivancanin... Milosevic and the rest... come back to us again... because we just adore you.....
Hey, General... remember what happened in Vukovar.... aha.. maybe I should think about that more.....🙂
Honestly, just go jump out a window..... :2up:
It’s black or white. Period. 🙄
For example, "oh my Belgrade comrade" isn't some extremist anthem. There are plenty of patriotic songs out there that aren't radical. Even John McLaughlin (that famous jazz guy) wrote a song called "Vukovar." Gettin' the picture?
Now, I'm gonna open the window for you—feel free to take the leap.
