If I'm kissing my boyfriend, I can feel exactly what he's feeling while we're kissing....
It's weird, but I can basically just step into another person's shoes and instantly pick up on everything they're going through...

That’s called empathy, not emotional intelligence. They aren't the same thing. Empathy is a trait for highly intuitive people who can pick up on others' feelings. (Personally, I think it's a beautiful quality; I don't get why anyone would want to get rid of it).
With high social intelligence, she could turn that empathetic ability into something really positive and use it to her own advantage.
