If we actually stopped smoking—you know, despite those warnings on the packs—where would the government get its tax revenue? What happens to all those self-righteous types once the game changes from "survival of the fittest" to actual solutions? It’s a beautiful utopia, isn't it? But there's a catch. We know exactly what schizophrenia is and how to move past it, yet a psychiatrist's job is basically to talk to a patient for three minutes, use everything they say to slap on a diagnosis, and then prescribe a pill. Because if people actually got cured, Big Pharma would go broke. It's all a dream. I realized this thanks to the one person who drives me absolutely insane. Life isn't some mystery, and neither is schizophrenia. The answer is simply "no."
Could you maybe dive into that a bit more? I'd love some more detail on this...
Michelle Evans said:I’m throwing in the towel, too. I’m not treating myself for schizophrenia; I’m just exploring mysticism and research. What I wrote isn't a fabrication, but rather an interpretation of spiritual texts. We'll never help heal this planet while we remain this cruel. So many people are disconnected from the world and broken by medication. They've even turned away from Jesus because he brought the truth. Psychiatrists refuse to believe true healing is possible. Once someone is labeled, they're marked forever. It's shameful...
The only "enlightenment" a person with schizophrenia can truly experience is realizing they are ill. That they don't possess some hidden "truth," weren't chosen by space, and aren't blessed with special insights. And usually, that realization only comes once therapy actually starts working.
Real cruelty is encouraging them to skip treatment and giving them room to spiral into their delusions. Not the other way around...
Anyone who has ever cared for someone in that position, or spoken with those in clinical care, knows how difficult this is. It’s hard to accept, and sometimes family members hold onto the hope that the person is somehow special, or a mystic... I've seen that happen before.
Believe it or not, there is no more satisfied doctor than a psychiatrist whose patient never slips back into psychosis again.
So well put. That really is the only truth here.
Jose Wells4 said:Bravo. Look, a mystic and a madman are basically the same thing. The only difference? A mystic keeps a grip on their perceptions. A lunatic loses it when they can't control themselves—overwhelmed by those intense mystical experiences. It triggers fear. Usually happens between ages 18 and 27 while your character is still forming. Our civilization doesn't train us for mysticism; it trains us for this so-called "reality." So, people with those "mystical" experiences...
People lose their minds right when they’re supposed to be growing up. Honestly? Our precious psychiatry system is out here killing people. Run. Get away from the meds and learn about mysticism instead. Sleep, eat, read, pray—heal yourself after those first psychotic breaks. You're better off sticking with Native Americans than trusting psychiatry. Once they poison you with drugs and wreck your intelligence and nervous system, you won't be a mystic anymore; you'll just be a pathetic, sick person. A healthy lifestyle, nature, art... all of that can help. But mostly, you have to help yourself. Don't look for friends; they'll just talk you into seeing a psychiatrist. Find yourself and don't tempt fate. One day we'll live with a new consciousness. For those already hooked on meds, those poisoned by years of psychiatric care, there's unfortunately not much help left. But if you're still young, help yourself before it's too late.
This sounds like someone who truly hasn't a clue what they're talking about. Nobody just "heals themselves" without professional therapy. Your intelligence remains intact, and the actual issues here are various conspiracies and spies... not some mystical nonsense.
Lately, I’ve been noticing how incredibly annoying that website dragovoljac.com has become... honestly, it's just unwelcome at this point. It feels like even the cards are being handed out just to "promote the site"... quite frustrating, really.
I wonder though... do those same rules apply to nytimes.com?
Melissa Sanders33 said:No, hold on... granitemarlin77 isn't being a suck-up, seriously, don't go there. I know exactly what he meant by that, and why he said it... and honestly, I don't play favorites with anyone on this board.
The two of you really are cut from the same cloth.
Neither one of you seems particularly interested in those links over at CNN, so... why is that?
granitemarlin77 said:If Robert Hall7 keeps things running this way, everything should be just fine...😁
Well, feel free to get us both banned for trolling, spamming, being annoying, going off on tangents, or even throwing insults (especially when it comes to hate speech 😬)..... 👋
I can't help but think that over at Robert Hall7's place, there's zero tolerance for anyone trying to suck up to the mods... 😲
Which really makes me wonder... what kind of threshold are they actually going to set for you when it comes to political discussions? 😁 ☕
Sam Wright21 said:I mean, it’s all just casual chatter... but you actually ended up agreeing with me, briskmason. The moderation here is pretty much non-existent—honestly, especially on the Politics board, it’s just pure chaos... though Robert Hall7 really stands out from that erratic mess because they actually put in the work... taking things seriously and staying dedicated to the job...
And that’s exactly why I’m saying it won't last much longer...
Carl Sanchez40 said:Yeah, he definitely knows his stuff... I mean, he's been around here forever and has over 23,000 posts under his belt... 🤣
just another topic drifting off into the general chat... 😬
Man, trying to churn out enough posts just to keep up with the numbers... even here, they're counting them all 😁
It's such a shame for this thread, really... 😢 😁
Melissa Sanders33 said:Thanks so much, everyone, for the kind words... honestly. briskmason, 😍 well, an auntie always takes her work seriously, you know? And I'm treating this one just the same...
I suppose I’ll have to watch my step when posting over on Fox News then... 😍
Either way, I won't last more than a year there... 😁
slywolf45 said:I'll find some garden for you to water, but honestly... whatever. 😬
I'm really not feeling this whole thing... 😬
slywolf45 said:Oh, right... anyway, go Robert Hall7! 🎉
She won't last long in that role... she takes being a moderator way too seriously.
slywolf45 said:Boring.🤷
Why don't you go find a garden to water or some flowers to dig up... instead of just sitting here being bored on a forum?
slywolf45 said:Oh boy... I guess I totally missed the mark there. 😬
There are just some days 😬
slywolf45 said:And why shouldn't we? This isn't just about filing complaints.😉
Hold on a second... are you acting like some official spokesperson now, or are you just posting here because you've got nothing better to do? 😉
slywolf45 said:Man, that really stings...😢 😁Just hits a little too close to home...
All you have to do is take a quick look at the FBI's official guidelines... just one glance at the fine print and you'll see...😉
It doesn't bother me one bit😁
really, it doesn't...
So, I guess we're actually allowed to call out the moderators now? Interesting...
slywolf45 said:It seems like there’s a constant stream of threads popping up lately, specifically targeting certain moderators... Have you ever actually noticed that happening? It just keeps going on and on...🤔
By the time I hit my 23,000th post... honestly, I doubt anyone would even notice... though maybe someone eventually will...
Honestly, looking at how Robert Hall7 has been posting lately... being put in charge of the politics section feels more like a sentence than an upgrade. She’s going to have to completely tone down her usual style just to prove she can be a "neutral" moderator, and frankly, we regular users are the ones losing out here...
Having to moderate political discussions is just stifling her personality on this board.
Besides, I get the feeling there's an unwritten rule here against starting threads about other members... though I suppose that rule doesn't apply when moderators are busy patting themselves on the back.
I was holding out hope for some kind of answer, but honestly, it doesn't even matter anymore... the site is back up and running again, so I guess this whole thread is pretty much dead in the water.
Well, there goes the third topic... shut down. Honestly, I don't quite get the logic here. Like, what was actually wrong with it? It feels like instead of just cleaning up the off-topic posts, they just pulled the plug on the whole thread...
Thanks
I was pretty worked up about the shutdown of my favorite local hobbyist site, so I just sat down and hammered this out quickly...
Here is the situation regarding
www.patriotnews.com:Dear readers and contributors,
Since the website www.patriotnews.com refused to back down despite all the threats and buyout offers, this is what happened...
Our account has been frozen, along with our entire access to everything related to the site,
including our database, user accounts, and pretty much everything else.
The excuse they gave us was that some sort of script overload was taxing the server space,
even though we haven't even used 10% of our allocated storage, and we have
unlimited bandwidth. When we asked them to just remove whatever scripts are bothering them,
they basically told us they had no idea which scripts they were talking about and suggested
we go check it ourselves. Well, obviously, we can't do that since they've
locked us out of everything completely.
Because of this, we aren't even able to send an update to our users,
since we can't get to their email addresses anymore.
It's pretty clear someone finds our presence extremely inconvenient.
Fixing this isn't going to be easy, because it involves
migrating everything, fighting for the domain redirect, and essentially rebuilding our whole
platform from scratch.
We expect this whole process could take somewhere around
two weeks.
So, please bear with us and keep supporting us; we are pushing forward
to make sure you can still follow our work at www.patriotnews.com
The Editorial Team
Wait, why are we supposedly not allowed to talk about this on this forum?
I posted two different threads over in the "close politician" section, and now I’m looking at it and... they're just gone.
The first one was basically asking if there's some specific political party pulling the strings behind this forum. I kind of get why those might have been scrubbed... I mean, you can't exactly question the sanctity of this place without running into trouble, let alone putting it in writing...
The second thread was about whether that site www.foxnews.com had gone offline or maybe got hacked. Since that site covers so much heavy political stuff, I thought it was relevant to the discussion here, so I wanted to see if anyone knew what happened... but that topic vanished too.
Why is that happening?
