Why am I always the target of toxic people? in Psychology ·
People are just selfish. They’re chasing status and comfort, stepping on anyone below them just to feel a little higher up the ladder. Some people see your failure as their personal win, while others just hurt you without even realizing it. You're probably just going through a rough patch right now, making everything feel a bit more raw. Honestly? Just toughen up and cut out the dead weight. Not everyone is a good person—if they were, we wouldn't be living in this mess.
Workplace bullying... basically just the side effect of all this "individualism" we've embraced in the States. Glad someone finally spoke up about what's happening to folks in NYC...

so nobody even notices you're drowning while you sink deeper and deeper.

literally me...
stuck in a deep rut, yet somehow I'm always the one giving advice and cheering up people who vent to me...
sometimes I feel like nobody actually hears me because I'm too busy playing the happy clown.
so I just retreat into my own little bubble...

If you only knew how many headaches women can cause...

You caught me at a bad time...
Got dumped two months ago—long distance thing—she just bailed out of nowhere and I was left standing there like an idiot with zero say in it.
Thought we were forever.
Now I’d love to find someone again, but I really need to get my own act together first.
hm... hardest part is that I actually loved being alone as a kid. Now that I'm 26, the last thing I want is to be by myself.
All my friends are paired up, while I'm just over here dealing with constant failed attempts.
I'm starting to worry that my old love for solitude is finally catching up to me...
And no, finding someone isn't easy. It's always the same people in the same spots and nothing but boring small talk.
