2012 Racing Season: NASCAR, Indy, F1, and more in Formula 1 ·
Here’s exactly why I love NASCAR http://www.nascar.com/video/post-rac...nal/index.html

Does anyone know which other series this is from? 🙂

Just caught those NASCAR qualifying sessions—pretty intense. Ekström grabbed pole for Chevrolet, Grin took second for Mercedes-Benz, and Verner rounded out the top three for BMW, among others.

Full results are right here http://www.dtm.com/en/Races/20120429...ualifying.html

Man, I’m torn... not sure if I should tune into MotoGP or stick with NASCAR tomorrow?

I guess I'm sticking with NASCAR😁—those races just have a special place in my heart, and honestly, they're still the best in my book...

You just don't get it... my signal is too weak on that channel. I’ve got CS instead.

And over here, it even says the channel is unencrypted FTA http://en.kingofsat.net/find.php?que...tv4&Submit=Zap

But the thing is—my signal is just so weak I can't pick it up at all.

Michael Lee4 said:It's on CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports HD, depends entirely on what your card sharing setup can actually pull off. For me, USA Network, CBS, and CBS Sports Network only run in High Definition, while CBS is stuck in Standard Definition 🤣 No clue why it works that way, but I'll take the CBS Sports HD feed and call it a win. If that satellite dish of yours picks up the BBC stream, you should be able to grab this too, except this isn't free

Besides that, you can watch http://www.itv.com/btcc/live/ as long as you have an expat shield installed to handle the IP address

The picture quality is solid, and it’s basically the only spot to catch qualifying, plus they have live timing

Qualifying is tomorrow from 4:15 to 5:00 PM, then the races kick off Sunday at noon and run until about 7:00 PM.

They run three NASCAR races, sandwiched between the Honda Civic, Ginetta, and Chevrolet cups.

The first NASCAR race follows the qualifying results, the second uses the first race standings but adds weight to the top five, and the third is a random draw where they pick drivers from 6th to 10th place to run in reverse order.

I get the BBC streams, but not the major US networks. My dish is about 4.5 feet wide.

Hey, does anyone know if they carry CBS Sports Network? Also, what size dish am I gonna need to pick up CBS? I'm worried my 1.15-meter one won't cut it...

edit: alright, found the SD version—but the signal is pretty weak. My dish is just too small. How big is yours?

Michael Lee4 said:Honestly, you guys need to start watching NASCAR☕ that's where the real touring car racing happens.

But where am I even supposed to watch it? It isn't on any of the regular TV channels... and downloading torrents just isn't the same thing.

I guess with the Ford, things might actually look a bit more colorful 😉

They just need to let them run like they do in NASCAR—no pit stops, just pure racing where you overtake whoever you can... Pit stops just ruin the flow of the race.
2012 Racing Season: NASCAR, Indy, F1, and more in Formula 1 ·
I was just reading through the new NASCAR rulebook—apparently, refueling is banned starting this year. So it’s strictly tire changes now, plus you're looking at two mandatory pit stops... Scoring is staying the same as F1, though.

Amanda Kelly said:There's a thread about this over on the Cars forum.

Any idea which networks might be broadcasting it?

Up until now, ABC has been carrying it on satellite—it's an unencrypted channel, so it's pretty easy to pick up.

Anyone else following this competition? The season kicks off this Sunday. Word is Ford joined the fray—hopefully that means things finally get interesting.
