Besides, honestly, this whole discussion should have been shut down after the first five pages; there’s zero point in continuing if you think people shouldn't be asking questions here, or if we're just supposed to loop back to page one to comment on the exact same posts? This isn't some philosophy seminar. And $10 I'll spend my time however I want, but there's nothing wrong with doing a little more research—preferably somewhere where people aren't quite as high-strung as you are. ☕
In my entire life, the longest I've ever gone is ten days.
The reason I'm spiraling this time—even though I asked a similar question in another thread—is because I'm seeing "signs" that things are about to kick off: I'm urinating constantly, I feel those familiar cramps like my period is right around the corner but it won't show, I've got thick white discharge, and my stomach feels slightly "bloated." Though, to be fair, I've had these exact sensations before only for my period to arrive anyway. But now it just isn't coming, and I'm starting to lose it.👎
I'm not sure if swollen lymph nodes under my armpits could be a symptom, but that's happened to me before too—I assume it's just a reaction to certain deodorants. I've also had headaches and backaches, but I can't really link those to pregnancy since I used to deal with them regardless. What is weird, though, is that my last two or three periods were unusually short (only 2-3 days when they're usually at least four), ending with this brownish discharge, almost watery. My skin texture hasn't changed at all.
I've been in a total state of shock since I looked in the mirror today and noticed a "bump." I can't stop obsessing over the possibility that I might be pregnant. I'm waiting until the day after tomorrow to take a test when I go over to my boyfriend's place, because I don't want to find out I'm pregnant all by myself and then just die of pure terror. I feel absolutely awful.👎
That happened to me recently too; my cycle is always regular and suddenly it was a month late. I totally panicked, but I wasn't even worried about being pregnant since I haven't been active, so I figured it was just some health issue.
And every single day I kept convincing myself it was coming; my lower back and ovaries were aching like I was about to start, and I was constantly checking to see if it had arrived. Honestly, with that much tension, you can't even get it to happen. The second I finally relaxed and told myself "whatever happens, happens," it showed up that very same day. Try drinking some herbal tea for a few days and just try to chill out as much as possible.
