This movie is basically a massive mashup of everything
To be honest, it gets pretty confusing at times; it feels like philosophers and physicists are just tripping over their own statements trying to make sense of things.
Everything they say—even when they aren't being explicitly clear—is rooted in some underlying philosophy.
There aren't actually that many hard facts presented in the film, either. It starts off feeling a bit slow, too. It’s this weird blend of genres: part scripted drama, part interview documentary, a little bit of animation (which isn't great), and just a tiny sprinkle of fun trivia.
Overall, I’d say it's a decent watch simply because it doesn't follow the typical formula, but I doubt it’ll stay with you or leave you deep in thought once the credits roll because the message is so murky. It's like asking a fish to explain what water is to a human... it's just a different level of existence.
