It’s just how it works... when there's a crowd watching, nobody wants to step up and actually do anything. It's a proven fact.
I don't know... maybe try talking to him privately? Pull him aside somewhere quiet and tell him he needs to wake up. He needs to start standing his ground and taking action. I can't give specific advice because I don't know the full details of what's happening, but at the end of the day, a man has to look out for himself. You can support him and advocate for him, sure, but that's only a temporary fix.
...I'm speaking from personal experience here. Nobody sat me down and explained this to me; I had to learn the hard way.
You have my 👍. Honestly, I'm wondering why you even bothered bringing this topic to the forum in the first place...

I truly believe that if you stay authentic, you'll eventually find your tribe and connect with people who actually appreciate you for you.
It’s true, truly... I didn't really buy into this until I actually lived it. Once you finally accept yourself—once you stop performing and pretending to be someone else—you don't have to constantly overthink what to say, how to act, or even who to hang out with. The mental exhaustion just vanishes. You aren't calculating anymore; you're just existing. Whether people accept you depends entirely on who you actually are. Some will love you for it, others won't, and that's fine. But once you sort things out internally, you start to radiate something genuine from within. It's like you're finally letting yourself loose in the world. You can't experience that freedom if you're busy wearing a mask. It doesn't mean everyone is going to embrace you immediately, but someone will. And honestly? Trying to please everyone is impossible because not everyone wants the real you. But finding those few people who do? That's the only thing that actually matters.

Honestly... I’m just fascinated by this obsession with sex. It feels like there's never enough of it on TV shows or in every other program, so we just have to sit around obsessively waiting for it. People, seriously—go have sex and stop watching TV!😬
Honestly, I completely overlooked that because I’ve basically built up an immunity to it by now. Everywhere you look, it’s just sex or some thinly veiled allusion to it. It’s all fine while it keeps you entertained—knowing who might hook up with whom or who’s crushing on whom—I guess that world is just incredibly riveting. You wake up, head down to the corner store to grab a copy of *People* or *Us Weekly*, and boom: endless entertainment right there.🙏
George Orwell's Big Brother is basically a sedative... at least that’s how it hits me. I’ve tuned in a few times—last year’s season, and then again this week during that Friday night slot—and it just numbs my brain. You sit there, slumped into the sofa, staring at the screen, and by the time it wraps up, it feels like coming out of a trance. I can’t even remember half of what happened, my IQ feels like it dropped fifty points, and I’m left sitting there thinking, "Why on earth did I watch that again?"
The people on the show are just regular folks, you know? They're just trying to win a million bucks however they can. But all the fluff surrounding it drives me crazy... the commercials, the endless stream of ads. And that Friday night broadcast? It’s indescribable. Just endless, cringey host banter and the same repetitive questions being asked to family members. Honestly, there are some people on that panel I'd love to take a sharpened pencil to. Add in even more commercial breaks, and that Friday show is just unwatchable.
