I just got off the phone with Chase (where I keep my checking account), and the representative walked me through the process. She explained that if someone wants to send me a transfer, they should enter
2393000-1000000013 and then simply include my account number
in the payment reference field.

Do these routing numbers apply to standard checking accounts as well, or are they strictly for savings accounts? 😕🤷

I gave JPMorgan Chase a call earlier today, and they informed me that I could go ahead and open an account as long as I bring my ID and a document showing my Social Security number
I believe they mentioned there would be a fee of approximately $10
