So, I went ahead and asked my aunt about all that—you know, checking in on whether they actually sell those custom fake cakes—and she told me flat out that they don't... apparently, keeping those things under wraps is their little "sweet secret"... or whatever. But then, because I wasn't entirely convinced, I gave them a call myself to get the real story, and it turns out they absolutely can make them... and the price would be around... $100 So, I’ll probably head over there tomorrow—or maybe sometime next week, if things don't get too hectic—just to take a look and finally pick one out... 😁

Well, I think I’ve officially given up on Vincek... we stopped by Sweet Secrets yesterday and honestly, hats off to them because 👍 their cookies are absolutely divine—we actually got a little batch to take home and sample... and oh my goodness, the variety of cakes they have is just unreal... simply stunning... The girl there told me all I have to do is show her a picture of the cake I want and they'll whip it right up for me 🙂. They even have two more orders lined up for my wedding day, though they're already swamped with work 👍

When she gave me a quote, she was looking at this exact style in the photo, but she suggested more budget-friendly flavors—things like chocolate or hazelnut... whereas the premium options—like Black Forest or those specialty seasonal blends—are quite a bit higher. Plus, those roses on this specific cake aren't cheap to pull off, so that bumps up the price, though honestly, I’m really drawn to them because of the roses 😍 even if I'm not totally sold on this specific shade of brown around the edges... I'd probably go for something more champagne-colored, but if they insist on this exact tone, then fine, I guess I'll just deal with it 🙂 Anyway, now that I'm heading over to Whole Foods, I might swing by there too and see if I can find something a bit more eye-catching and easier on the wallet :-)
