Check out our wedding cake! We had everything made by Smile Bakery, and I can’t recommend them enough—I think I’ve mentioned why before, too...
The bottom layer was a chocolate and vanilla parfait, the middle was a light vanilla cream with apricot and pineapple (I originally wanted strawberries, but they were already out of season!), and the top was a classic Black Forest. We got to handpick all the flavors ourselves. It was absolutely DELICIOUS, and honestly, every single dessert was incredible. Our guests kept telling us they hadn't tasted wedding cakes this good in years.

I completely agree with you. I'm just sharing my own experiences and thoughts here. In our case, they also brought the cake out half an hour before serving. It was FANTASTIC! 👍 I highly recommend Smile!

I’ve had plenty of chances to check out Vice's cakes. Like I mentioned, they look beautiful, but they just aren't that tasty. 👎For that kind of money, you're better off ordering from someone else. There are so many great options to choose from in Washington, D.C. alone.

To be honest, I wouldn't recommend Vicek. Don't get me wrong, their cakes look absolutely stunning, but the flavor profile is just... off. They feel a bit overdone—way too much sugar and margarine for my liking.👎

I’d definitely suggest going with Smile!👍 I’ve already used them for my wedding, so I can personally vouch for how great they are!

It sounds like they've bumped up their prices quite a bit lately. But then again, you saw firsthand how delicious everything is, so I don't think you'll regret it. If you went to one of those high-end bakeries in downtown Chicago, you'd be paying even more! Personally, I think their pricing is pretty fair compared to other places, especially since their cakes and treats are so tasty. 👍

I should also mention how organized everything is there; the staff is genuinely decent, too. You can tell they’re running their own show, so they actually care about getting every little detail right. I’d definitely recommend them!

Back again to talk about Milka. Honestly, her pastries are absolutely incredible. They taste genuinely homemade—not just a bunch of margarine and sugar dumped out of a box, which seems to be what most people do these days. Plus, they look stunning, almost too perfect to eat. We paid $20 per kilo. They did raise their prices recently, though; it’s now $22/kg. They also handled our wedding cake, which was fantastic. We got to pick all the flavors ourselves, along with the specific design and the topper. We paid $333 for the topper. They really know their craft, and I can't recommend them enough! Everything is customizable through direct communication. They deliver the pastries straight to the venue on the wedding day itself. If you want to set aside some treats for the staff, they’ll package those separately for you. They even handle the guest favor baskets. Our cake arrived around 11:30 PM, and we cut it right at midnight. They took care of the assembly and setup, too. I didn't have to worry one bit about anything happening in the kitchen, like the frosting melting or anything like that. They are based out of Aspen, which isn't hard to get to at all. They service the entire Washington, D.C. area and beyond. If anyone is interested or has any questions, just let me know! 😍

Honestly, their homemade cookies are absolutely delicious and look stunning, and their cakes are just as fantastic! Plus, they aren't overpriced at all. Whenever I need a treat, they’re my go-to spot.
