Hey there!
What kind of pricing are we looking at over at Whole Foods? To be honest, my mom is convinced that sticking with them is the safest bet since the desserts they're serving at our venue are also sourced directly from their bakery... 🤷 Though, if I’m being completely candid, I haven't even decided which bakery I want to start my search with yet.😕
All I really have right now is a handful of ideas regarding the aesthetic I'm aiming for with the cake design.😍

Dana Gomez89 said:bluegull, that seems excessive for just 100 people. We're paying $833 for our group of 270 using that white filler instead of the straw... if we used the straw, it would be $167 cheaper...

Yeah, I have to agree, that feels like an excessive amount, especially after scrolling through some of the discussions here on the forum🤷
I also wanted to see if anyone here has actually used Magnolia Bakery before?😕 They don't even have a functional website, and all I managed to get from them was a single promotional flyer. It's making it a little difficult for me to get a solid estimate...
So, if anyone happens to have any insight or intel, I'd certainly appreciate it 🙏

Hi there!
I came across a recommendation for a little bakery called The Cookie House recently, and I was wondering if anyone here has actually tried them out—specifically, is the pricing a bit steep? I was browsing through some vendors at the State Fair in Chicago and asked about the cost of a cake for roughly 100 guests, and they told me it would run somewhere around $500, depending on the design and ingredients, of course. Does that sound reasonable to you all, or am I being overcharged? Honestly, I haven't even officially started my search yet, and the whole process feels a bit overwhelming since I have no idea where to even begin... I would truly appreciate any advice or suggestions you might have🙏 so I can start hitting up local bakeries and tasting everything🙂... though I’m slightly worried about what all this sugar might do to my waistline.😂
Thanks!
